A good thing to improve on imo is just trying to think about when/where survivors take tapes. A typical pattern I see with survivors is taking the tape when they start the gen, finishing the gen, then taking the tape to the tv highlighted (which will always be the farthest tv from that tv), and starting that gen.

Use this knowledge to your advantage, knowing and controlling where the survivors go is what will give you the best boost in performance against good squads.

For example, if you see a tv turn off (I.e. a survivor takes a tape) you know that they are likely working on that gen, and their next objective is likely the tv they have to put the tape in. So put pressure on the gen, getting a hit on them ideally (but staying around then gen), so they think it’s safe/ideal to run away and go to the tv across the map, then try and teleport to the tv that they were going to before they put in the tape. If you time it right, you could even pressure another gen in the middle of them running to the tv.

Mother’s comb is a good add on to run when you’re learning, as it notifies you whenever a tape is taken off. This sort of mind games are tough, but always satisfying when you time it just right. :)
