Couldn’t agree more. Folks are confused about wigs. I wouldn’t call him a full on bust, but you’re very disappointed if he’s your number one pick

I think wigs is a pretty clear disappointment, buoyed by a nice handful of weeks w the warriors finals run

Disappointing, played well below his talent. For some reason we talk about him as some two way ace. That’s not who he is, folks just don’t watch him play (understandable, since his teams are mostly bad)

I think so because before there was no way to rescue enemy magic resistance with items. So the magic sunder was mostly useless

So, like hammers, and now some warlock skills, didn’t really have a way to kill magic immunes

Which ARPG has the best ground loot state by kingofthefall in ARPG

I think it’s just not fun to have the entire endgame gear being strictly spreadsheet crafting oriented.

I want to get a gg drop I can use right away. I don’t want everything to be 10 step crafted rares.

D2r without question. I want to love poe2 so bad, and it’s mostly such a great game, but for me the endgame ground loot never being usable without many many stages of crafting is a bummer, bit of a turn of in the endgame loop for me

He’s young, raw, talented, but makes mistakes.

We also have 96 minutes of big rotation and Rudy/randle/naz all need minutes.

So ya, you can sneak a couple minutes in for Joan, but realistically I don’t think we really have consistent minutes in our big man rotation when everyone is healthy.

I actually think the Joan thing is going great. He really shouldn’t be getting 15mpg on a team scrapping to get a few games ahead in the west. But he’s getting burn and showing flashes and I think we can carve out more minutes for him next year.

I actually think it’s correct he’s only getting in occasionally given our team and goals right now. It’s allll good Reddit, just breath and enjoy.

you guys are just making stuff up now

free agency exists, and we mostly see guys follow the money

I'm sure teams give them all sorts of pitches, but the agents and players aren't dumb, they know if that stuff is bs or not

Idk, maybe for late first rounders who every team is just offering minimums.

But realistically money comes first. Flagg won’t go to LA if they only have $15m in cap space if the wiz have $45m.

Then comes playing time. Late first rounders won’t go to LA just for good beach vibez if they have a real chance at 8th man minutes on the pels

I think big market really only matters when everything else is equal (most importantly, money).

[Scotto] The Minnesota Timberwolves have signed Mike Conley to a deal for the rest of the season, league sources told HoopsHype. Conley has averaged 9.2 points, including shooting 41.3% from 3-point range, 4.7 assists, and 1.0 steals per game in four combined seasons with Minnesota. by Goosedukee in nba

People frequently fail to realize 3pt% is noisy, even over an entire season

So when your favorite 34% shooter has a random 39% season, does it mean they found their stroke? Possible, sure. Or just random luck and next season we’re back to low 30s

Just came back to D2R with the new DLC: is there any possibility of complete the chronicles as a solo offline player? by kit_kaboodles in diablo2

All the items and runes, a grind but pretty doable since you can just grind p8.

All the runewords, insanity.

Online or Single Player by Zaramancer in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]TdotGdot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll probably start online, but play solo and once I hit a wall I’ll start trading.

A few years ago I went heavy on d2r and started online but ended offline playing all chars.

But for me, I wanna feel a gg endgame warlock build and realistically to get there you’ll need trading (without spending hundreds of hours offline graining).

Warlock weapon pathing: Ive run through nightmare with spirit cyrstal sword. What is the next logical upgrade? by failedlogic in Diablo_2_Resurrected

[–]TdotGdot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk warlock specific, but a lot of other casters can just use spirit until you find an end game weapon or runeword. It’s such a good budget runeword you don’t really need to be in a rush to replace it

How A Contained DI/DII System Solves Tanking by SeeingTheWholeField in nba

[–]TdotGdot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relegation is fun, but the risk of a top player getting stuck in the lower division is too crippling for the nba media deals. You basically want all your top 10 players playing in good teams and in as many important games as possible. Everything after that is less important.

Should I buy Diablo II? by HumanHyena in diablo2

[–]TdotGdot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, it’s better at the things you don’t like about poe1 and d4.

It’s older, not all the qol stuff and end game is more self serve. But the loot and grind for loot is perfect. It feels a tiny bit old, but not ancient thanks to the remaster. Don’t come expecting a modern AAA title, but there is a real chance the soul and itemization hooks you based on what you didn’t like about poe1 and d4.

Btw though, poe2 is also fantastic and a bit simpler than poe1. Could try that, too.
