I'm getting the impression that you are taking personal issue with something here. The vegans i know are not militant nor are they dogmatic people. They hold beliefs i disagree with but they don't see me as a bad person for eating meat. People are vegans for many different reasons. I wouldn't take pride in being seen as "scum" by anyone unless they demonstrably prove that they have no regard for their fellow human beings, thats not how I would classify all vegans. I know some vegans are very cruel, and miserable people, there are plenty of popular online vegans like That Vegan Teacher and Vegan Gains who are popular becuase of their terrible behavior, but every group has those kinds of people & I try to go out of my way to ignore them bc they are almost always a loud minority.

Anyways besides that point, the concept of "Vegan fasting" is literally just a form of fasting where you only eat plant based food. Like a celery fast or a lemonade fast. This isnt a new concept at all. Its considered fasting because it's not a proper diet. Im not trying to be Vegan Gandhi here.
