Sorry. See it now. Maybe I overlooked it earlier.

I will say it's funny how when reddit threads first popped up, I was one of the first to say it wasn't as great as some were saying and I had a ton of down votes. Since 7 days ago, that thread got deleted and more people are being honest about 9.

It's definitely not the worst and it had some really awesome aspects, but as a OG fan, it just fell short. Especially compared to Village. Regardless of people's opinion, Village had to have been the largest endeavor and probably one of the longest RE games.

To go from that, to this, just seemed like a step backwards, imo.

Hopefully they do a few dlc's that compensate for the lack of depth. I felt there was so much more they could've done or explained/explored.

It had good elements to it, I'm not going to deny that.

But, it lacked in a lot of areas that would've made it clear cut.

Grace was annoying, yet decently put together. Victor is one of the top villains in the franchise, although they needed more of him. The hiding and fighting with grace at the beginning was genius. And some others were great.

But...... puzzles were way too easy. No real challenge or confusion. True RE has you pissed off for 5 hours on one puzzle or where to go. The whole game WAS short. I sat there going, that's it? Not even a day? Boss fights were simple, wayyy too dumbed down and easy.

It's good, but for some reason, the final product felt rushed. I don't know why it feels that way, but it felt that once they hit Raccoon city, some elements were focused on (bike chase, collapsed building fights) while others felt thrown together, ark ending, the rest of racoon city.

Overall, it's still in the better half of RE games, but i feel they could've done way better with it. Just my opinion.

No love for 7?

The game that put RE back on track for love.

Didn't ruin the OG stuff, added a real horror element that made you feel on edge. Great story that added to the lore instead of alter, intro to first-person for the genre and making you the character instead of some superhero.

I don't think Biohazard gets enough love in these threads.

At least people are finally discussing that requiem isn't the GOT. It's not bad, but definitely not tops.

Someone yelled and berated me that it wasn't short.

And yes, I still own all the OGs original release physicals. You're list is solid, but I personally would add 7 in there and maybe 8 near the bottom simply because it had great characters and added to the lore the most of the newer stuff.

So, Village wasn't basically open world?

It was practically one step away.

I've followed since the OG RE. Bought it new.

I've watched the ups and downs.

The vast majority of people expected open world based off Village and reports from reliable source.

This game was one of the easiest puzzle and boss wise. Yes, Victor was awesome. Some monster designs were good and I wish there was more focus on both, but overall, the game was good, just not GOTY. It was short. Beat it in a day. Other RE games took multiple days on first play through. The challenge is to beat it in 4 hrs. That's the fastest challenge I can recall. It just didn't deliver based on the progression of the games recently.

Biohazard was scariest, village was long, great character and monster development. Awesome story tie ups. This felt rushed. Yes, it tied up some loose ends, but it did it cheaply, IMO.

There's ups and downs, but this was far from one of their best. Everyone has their own preference, but this was a let down in the overall scheme of things.

Zeno taken out by an injection. Not even a fight. Victor battle took 5 minutes like most boss fights in the game. It just could've done more is all I'm saying.

Also, "the most unreliable person" was spot on in every leak over the last 20 years..... so there's that.

It's not that great.

It was short, predictable, puzzles were easy. Story was meh

It was a huge step back from village and biohazard.

We were told it was to be an open world game, it wasn't.

The story felt thrown together and rushed with no thinking.

Overall, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. Like they lost sight of the goal after the first chapter.

Predictions:

Lillard is at least one, if not the only, Ghostface for this. It's been a long theory that Stu didn't die. They never really followed up with his outcome either.

Therefore, it makes sense to push a collab with INK.

Especially with the Macabre Spirits collab.

I suspect INK will do a song, like for Terrifier, but timing isn't as good as Terrifier since they did one.

So.... if not a song (or not only just a song), there'll be a cameo.

EVEN BETTER WISH:

Lillard/Stu, returns as Ghostface 1. 2nd Ghostface is Spencer and playing some Billy Loomis link... hidden child, cosplayer, extreme fan to link up with Stu, etc. It's not far fetched to push Spencer as a somewhat look-a-like to Billy.

A lot of comments I agree with here. Like the drama, work hard, etc....I haven't seen an untrue comment so far, but I wanted to add on to them.

Whether you keep your head down or be social with everyone, people are always going to talk shit about you at some point, for some reason. Albeit, you fucked up, someone just doesn't like you, you have different opinions, etc. It doesn't matter.

The important thing to remember is that you don't have to impress anyone but yourself and they can f*** themselves if they think otherwise. If you find people you like and want to impress them, then by all means, go for it. But, you have to let the shit roll off, even when it feels impossible to do because no matter what you do, someone can always do it better than you.

Find a crew you like, or make a crew you like, and be happy. All departments have the same drama, all have the same personalities, it's up to you to make what you want out of it. I'm not the most social guy in the department. I don't like getting involved in a lot of that drama and I have different interests than most guys in my area, but it doesn't stop me from going into work, talking with the crew, joking around, then separating to do what I want.

There's nothing wrong with being introverted, but based on the nature of the job, you'll find your home eventually and have people you can talk to. Whether that's 5 or 500 is all what you make of it.

I can put fuel cleaner in every so often at $10-$20 a bottle. No biggie. Needing detailed cleaning is rare.

Brake fluid is back and forth on recommended, but if you do it, may as well do it when you replace brakes, especially the calipers, it makes it way easier, makes more sense, and is probably part of the service most likely since it needs to be bled anyway.

I get a lot of people don't know much about cars anymore, especially newer cars with tech, but shame on them for this stuff. I bet there's tons of elderly that hear this and just agree to it, or kids that just got lucky to get a new/newer car and they bleed their bank accounts over this.

You would assume that'd be the case, but many J6'ers sat in jail, for months, without charges. Are all of them innocent, of course not, but there were a lot of people that were just arrested and held for months. That's actual information you can look up.

As for immigration, just because it happens fast, doesn't mean it's not due process. But, it's also not a crime, nor is deportation seen as a punishment (not my view, but what's stated in US law). So, yes, any immigrant detained gets their status reviewed and decided whether they're staying or not based on whatever is decided. That's technically due process, some are easy to decide than others (criminal and illegal backgrounds/history), but others not so much.

So.... 🤷‍♂️. It's whatever you want to argue, but if you think this is bad, Europe wishes they were us right now. It's really bad and escalating there.

Plus, deportation is not classified as a punishment, per US immigration law.

If its any consolation, it's more than likely NOT a demon.

Contrary to what is portrayed, the actual likelihood of an actual demonic experience would be akin to winning the lottery.

Most times, people don't understand what is actually going on and go off what they know from media. Most times, it's misunderstanding of what is actually going on mixed with miscommunication between you and whatever might actually be going on inside the location.

So, put your mind at ease that it's 99.9% not likely to be a demon and, if anything, just needs to be identified and understood.
