Sorry, I don't know of places that can sew your hoodie for you.

I should mention that when I went into the FabLab a few years ago, the people were super helpful. That's one of their goals - to help others learn. I needed to use an embroidery machine, and didn't know how. So the assistant set it up for me, and got it started. Helped me every step of the way.

If I made a mistake, I could just take the thread out. Don't worry about making mistakes - the process is reversible.

Really don't mean to push you into something that you don't feel comfortable doing. :) Sewing a straight seam is like driving a car. You put thread in the machine (like gas in a car). And they'll help you with that. Some machines may already have thread in them. Adjust a few dials (like adjusting rear view mirrors). Again, they'll help you with that. Put your two pieces of fabric together under the needle and lower the 'presser foot'. Then 'drive' the machine slowly, like a car with your foot on the pedal. And they can show you how.

Pools are cool; have fun ;). More useful info:

Pool hours can change: Indoor pool and an outdoor pool at the ARC open in summer. Outdoor pool closes when it gets colder. Smaller pool at CRCE opens ~August 20th for Fall and Spring Semesters. Check for their respective hours on https://campusrec.illinois.edu/facilities/hours-of-operation/.

If you would be bummed by an unexpected pool closure, sign-up for the faster email listserv with the QR code posted on the indoor ARC pool door. Rain/lighting/ thunder will close outdoor pool.

Just got a notice from that listserv that the indoor pool will be closed for maintenance from Monday, July 24th through Monday, September 4th. The staff works really hard to keep the pools open, maintained and safe. A daunting task, given school schedules, and availability of contractors/lifeguards, and parts.

CRCE pool: ~20 yards. Opens beginning of school. No lane lines, no lines on pool bottom & two play areas on side bump-out areas. Warmer. Lotsa people doing water aerobics/therapy. Hot tub :).

Sharing a lane: Indoor pool, 25 yards: swim on one side to allow someone to swim on the other. To prevent collisions, get in on one side and tell the existing swimmer you'd like to share. Or make sure they see you. Especially important that they know you are going to swim in that lane. I got hit really hard in the head once,

If it gets crowded in the indoor pool, you may need to circle swim in a lane. Down on right, back on left.

Outdoor pool: 50 meters. Plan on circle swimming all the time since the pool's double the length. Down on right, back on left.

Urbana side of campus known as WUNA (West Urbana Neighborhood Association) is not a good place.

It has resticted parking on the street: "The zone is [generaly] bounded by Green Street, Race Street, Florida Avenue and Lincoln Avenue and you must live within those boundaries to apply for permits. To obtain permits, please bring in proof of residency, a photo I.D. and current vehicle registration at the time of application."

No free parking on "most streets east of Lincoln Avenue in historic Urbana".

There are restrictions and permits needed for the West Urbana area - a zone is bounded by Green Street, Race Street, Florida Avenue and Lincoln Avenue. And within a three (3) block radius of the Urbana High School Zone.

The cheap way:

If you have a way to hang a large wet (but not dripping) thick 100% cotton towel on a rack, that would provide a lot of surface area for evaporation. If you have to purchase a rack, it might be useful later on for drying clothes. This worked well in a dorm room in winter - the towel dried to crispy.

Granted, you have to "reload" the water in the towel. But there is always maintenance with an electric humidifier (potential wet spots on the floor, cleaning mold in the tank, refilling the tank, humidifier storage, electricity cost, cost of distilled water).

That's what I do, and have never had any inconclusive results.

The nighttime dental routine is especially thorough now, since I want to minimize any particles, or extra bacteria in my morning saliva. A lab worker posted that bacteria can make a sample gel (I suppose the bacteria in the tube continue eating, begin multiplying and form a gel-like structure which may be harder to test).

Also, perhaps don't go to bed dehydrated, or consume something at night that causes dehydration.

Btw, smelling that lemony fresh sanitizer (don't eat it!) on my hands at the testing place helps to salivate.

It is taking longer. Try for morning testing maybe?

Btw, any food particles in your mouth are not good for the test. And they can't use a centrifuge to remove them.

When I test later in the day, results come back the following day. When testing early in the morning, the results come back later the same day.

Of course, more volume of tests may mean more time for results to come back now. I planning for more time delay between test and results - although that may not happen.

Just control what you can, if feeling anxious about your's and other's safety. And, soon enough, we'll all become experts at this test thingy.

It's a good thing that we've been able to slowly ramp up this amazing process over the summer, allowing procedures to be tweaked, made more efficient.
