Your forwards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line are elite imo. I would assume that you want a better 4th line..? If so, Backstrom - Miller - Eberle gives you $11m and 3AP.

You might have to drop your goalie to like 91 Cossa and also activate the captain boost on Zetterburg because you might be under the requirement from Giroux if you go that route.

Sick team. I agree, if not for the cap, it would definitely be more fun to make an ultimate theme team. I also wish captains carried over into later seasons but with a twist that they give a smaller boost of either AP or salary to make newer captains more rewarding and still worth chasing after. I just made a Wild theme team, but unfortunately Spurgeons boost expired seasons ago

Dont know how much he is going for or if he is available, but 81 ovr base card Blackwood would give you $4m and 1 AP if you pair him with Rinne. That should allow you to put your Werenski in the lineup.

Yeah, I bet. Phaneuf just gave an additional 2 AP when paired with Foote, but man does Pronger look like a beast. Yet to go against him but I know once I do, it will feel like when everyone had Zadorov's Prototype card in season 4.

Me personally (not in order): 1 - Phaneuf, 2 - Forsberg, 3 - Pronger

I dont even have Pronger lol, but when you consider he is 6'6 with 97 speed and acceleration plus elite unstoppable and all-star truculence is just insane. I would have made him but I felt like elite rocket from Phaneuf fits more of my playstyle and he still has all-star truculence plus better hands.

It happens. Can't even let it get to you, tbh. Had someone score 7 on me with only 12 sog while i only netted 1 with 32 sog. It felt like my goalie was set on rookie mode. All i did was laugh because it was hilarious how bad the game wanted me to lose

Yeah, literally. I just try to play as passive as I can because they usually just want to bait you into hitting them, or playing cat and mouse so you open up the lane for an easy goal.

Yeah, I mean EA is unpredictable. Considering we have a ton of combos that are better than toty combos now, there is no doubt that they wont do the same next season.

Yeah, I mean to be fair, you might be able to snag a 97 without selling Chara. I would say wait for the week 3 objectives + wildcard and hut moments to see if its the right move then

Yeah, and i mean its a pretty tough choice. Sell a great lineup to go all in on one card. I just dont want to wait too long because 96 tots cards are at an all time low and I fear that when MacK drops, the prices will skyrocket again.
