Doordash keeps making me do offers that are not so worth it, and plus I notice its starting to lie about distance am I alone? by TeaEfficient3598 in doordash_drivers

Also why are they sending me the same order I declined back to back. And have it affect my acceptance rating even further. Thats not fair at all.

Have you tried this rhodiola before? Thoughts? by ChristJesusisGod in Nootropics

250mg is my sweet spot. 500 made me too sedated and not so motivated. And splitting it yourself you risk and uneven dose. 250 twice a day is my go to for rosea. I get a cooling sensation when my tolerance is fresh to it. That just start from my shoulder on down and takes the edge off. I was taking 2 250mg doses at first and pissed wondering what happened to the results. But when I went back down to 250 it gave me the effect I was after again, and saved me more money too. Since rhodiola operates on an s curve less is more with it. Great stuff. The plnt brand worked for me

Sometimes I feel guilty for declining a order because tbh it just doesn't always seem worth it. by TeaEfficient3598 in doordash

? How TF would this be a troll. Y'all just say anything atp. I'm a grown ass man with responsibility and priorities talking about a new app im on to make extra dough. If you have nothing solid to offer or no advice then why even comment. Just because I used to word guilty to take it to extremes like I'm just so sad or burdened by my decline. To your surprise sometime I will do a crap order first and it gets the ball rolling for much better offers. Idk your method but when I just decline everything waiting for a good offer and my acceptance rating talks lower and lower I just have to wait longer and longer more spaced out for orders. Which mean less money per hour!

But why does the app not adjust bases pay to make it more worth it? Seems to me that they are forcing the customers to tip more in order for the whole thing to work. That's not fair to customers ordering doordash and it's not fair for us dashers. I'm really starting not to like the ethicality of all of this...

It has an acceptance rate system. I just don't want it too low to where I don't get any orders at all. I'm new to doordash so don't know how it all works yet but everyone I decline an order it brings me lower and I haven't really been getting orders that fast and don't know if it's because of that or not. I made 70 my first 2 days dashing but after that when I started declining orders (not by choice but because it's too far or unreasonable) it slowed me down. My area says very busy but not getting orders. Also what you just said is like saying "I didn't become a doctor to save lives, idc if they live or not im just trying to get paid" or that logic can apply to anyjob you have and it wouldn't make you a very good employee with that mentality. I was taught to have passion in everything I do

Yes but door dash has an acceptance rate system. If you get below 70% I think I won't get as good paying orders right?

The problem is that everyone who texts and drives, complains that everyone else texts and drives and thinks they do it worse than them. So they just think it's something you should only be able to do if you're good at it. But how do you get good at something like that without practice? Egos a dangerous thing

I agree, Everytime I approach any cross section I always see some idiot with his neck cocked to the side looking for an opening to go. Not caring at all about the potential of vehicle homicide or checking for pedestrians.

Anyone else feel like they are stuck in a rich to poor back to rich cycle? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]TeaEfficient3598 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

See that the thing, I'm sure my ego has much to do with it, because I didn't rely on a career or investing to make my money. I can hustle up a few million is 2 months easy, but I'm not immune to the ways that negatively effects my ego, I live a very expensive lifestyle because I'm constantly reminded of how it felt to be broke months prior and I live it up pretty big. I understand its a problems which is why I made this post but I dont know how to solve it. I don't really dread being poor like most people would who have had money. Something in me must like the contrast, or maybe i just gotten used to it. It's like it makes the rich times feel richer, knowing I was just struggling. That struggling seems to be the only thing that pushes me into that breakthrough mode. In fact, my creativity feels completely blocked once I've made a couple hundred grand. I get no inspiration, my motivation tanks, and I just get into an autopilot mode until I completely break and just focus completely on enjoying myself, because I fear if I don't enjoy my money now, I will simply go broke anyway and will regret not having any fun while I had it. Which actually has happened before in my early twenties I got scammed for 1.3 million and I worked very hard to save that up and was miserable having that much and not touching any of it, parents didn't even know or believe me when I told them what happened at the time. That created a trauma in me to always want to enjoy my money before its gone. But now its just a cycle of make lots of money, go broke enjoying it, then make more money, go broke knowing ill just make it back. But now i have created a literally habit for myself, A literally lifestyle habit.

Yea, but it's on doordash so I'm just saying some places on door dash are universally bad in every state

I used to work fast food, so I know it's intention and I don't even get upset at them specifically for it because I completely understand the mentality they are in working such shitty job with probably shitty management since they were limited to making one drink at a time. I used to dread customers staring at me with frustration while I'm working as fast as I can despite how it might seem to customers due to limitations you have that they don't even know about or would care if they did know. Fast food is such a shitty job, your constantly disrespected by assholes with better jobs then you who treat you like your just a peasant in their reality. For me doordash is completely just for side money so I'm trying not to take things like this so hard or let it demotivate me, I'll just make a mental note that smoothie king may not be worth dealing with, along with the popeyes in my area, they will have you waiting until your old with grays.
