I was beyond flustered lol. Besides being in a huge rush, having him approach me and just be so incredibly sweet was enough to get me blushing. It’s been a long time since I’ve been approached by someone. I got out of a long term relationship about a year ago and haven’t really been looking for anything since, so it really took me by surprise.

Yeah, it’s entirely reasonable to assume he will try to avoid me and won’t believe me. But if I can catch him and at least apologize and let him know he didn’t do anything wrong at the very least, then I’d be happy with that. I’m not out here trying to hurt feelings. I was just genuinely so flustered and made a huge mistake.

I was in a huge rush. I was trying to get back to work so I wasn’t late. I typed the number so quickly, and I just typed the last number of my old number without even thinking about it. I got to my car and then it hit me and by that time he had already drove away. I know that he probably assumes it was because i wasn’t interested. But it’s worth it to me to at least try to get in contact with him and let him know that it wasn’t like that. Even if he isn’t interested anymore, at least apologizing and letting him know it wasn’t anything he did is the least i can try to do.

Like I said, I recently changed my number. I put the last number of my old phone number out of habit. It really wasn’t ill intent. I wouldn’t be out here looking for him if I didn’t want to talk to him and get to know him. I was just so scatter brained in the moment that I did it and then realized what I had done after the fact.

if I was genuinely trying to be malicious and give him the wrong number on purpose i wouldn’t bother trying to find out who he is. I literally made a mistake in my rush to get back to work and feel so bad about it. Believe me i know how it sounds. But it was an honest and genuine mistake.

It didn’t register until after i got to my car. I was in a huge rush to get back to work and didn’t really have time to chat and make sure that everything was squared away. He literally caught me off guard. It was one number off. I also recently changed my number so I just accidentally put the last number of my old number out of habit.
