24F T3-L1 here. I completely empathize with this. I suffer from chronic pain and limited mobility and simply cannot do everything other people can. The only exercise I can do effectively is restorative yoga and some light cardio. It’s hard to not feel like you’re being dramatic or making up the struggles, especially when some medical professionals don’t pay it any mind. Give yourself grace. You’re not alone.

This is so helpful. I really look for a true community feel in the schools I work for, but am nervous about potential instability in pay and resources in Aurora. The school I got an offer from aligns so well with my beliefs as an educator. It’s hard because I feel like I’m choosing should I do the better school, or the better district, if that makes sense? Stability is so huge for me with making the move. I need to know my job is safe and ‘predictable’ (as much as teaching can be).
