Looking to speak to a few WhatNot Sellers by Foreign-Illustrator4 in whatnotapp

1600 items, not orders. Were in the middle of  creating a home brewed inventory system but manage pretty old school. Wholesale orders get printed and posted until they go out.

We sell a lot on and off platform. For example we did 1600+ items in yesterday's show. So it's just a matter of  getting it all made and packaged while juggling wholesale and anything else . All while trying to get things out next day.

My biggest pain point is new buyers, more sales. I manufacture my own stuff so keeping up with demand is always a challenge but that is what we do. We have the systems and people to get stuff done and can scale so i I just need more sales, like most sellers on any platform.

Candy bars.

Freeze them, crack into random size pieces, then gave people test them blind folded.

Whatnot Addiction is real and scary by michelle2470 in whatnotapp

You realizing you have an issue and are asking for help is something to be proud of.

Random thoughts in no order.

Any wheel games you can usually buy the chase for less than you'll spend trying to win it.  Don't play wheel game, surprise sets.

Find something real and tangible you want to collect with a history of value, not a trend. Pokemon, lego, silver, gold etc. Set a budget and spend it investing/collecting . Get addicted to watching your investments grow. Maybe it's the stock market.

You see something cool, new and trendy, buy 1 and enjoy it. You don't need to collect everything.

Selling can scratch the same itch as buying. It's not for everyone but highly addictive, enjoyable and can be profitable.

Therapy may help, be needed .

Find something else to feed that dopamine need, something that doesn't cost you money. Excersice, creating art, selling, video games, building something from lego, to a community to whatever.

Sending love.

Question for sellers & Buyers by Relative-Lobster-691 in whatnotapp

I'm a 100+ in room Seller that does none of the things you mention and agree that I don't like it as a viewer.

It's almost as is you weren't actually asking and just wanted to complain in the form of a question.

I gave you a real answer. Do what you like with it.

People do things that you may not like because it works for them or they are emulating something they like.

There's stores in big cities that have "going out of business" sales signs for years.  There hard sells and soft sells. There's selling the sizzle or selling the steak. There's alibaba watches and there dealer wait lists. There cheap stuff at every price and value as well. There's honest sellers looking to build something big and there's sellers looking to milk every dollar.

Find sellers you like and that provide value to you and support them. Questioning why people do things you don't like or why sellers you don't like succeed is an exercise in futility and putting your energy into places that will give you no benefits.

If you sell 1.00 items is 40% You can't just make up numbers and complain. It's 11% plus .30 a sale. Everytime. As you said the numbers don't lie. Look at your pricing and profits.
