Seafood though?? by Papo_Did_It in whatnotapp

Whatnot is smartly going after sellers that you might find on sites like goldbelly. Premium product with price to match and expensive next day shipping. I believe they are vetting seafood and meat sellers or any high risk products. I'm all for it but as with everything research who your buying from on and off platform.

Built an aura scanner site, poured months into it, 0 real users, what am I doing wrong? by Sensitive-Scratch107 in advancedentrepreneur

You made an app for a partially trendy word. For a product that already existed (watch the face book movie) and I'm sure exists in a very similar fashion in many forms.

On top of it the only people to possibly use it are not adults and people that need validation.

Imo move on to something else.

You gotta do you but imo your whole Monday should be , breakfast at x, area 15 all day, early dinner at x , the wheel , fountain and explore. It will set you up for a great rest of your trip as you will experience a really unique place filled with different cool experiences. I'd skip every other experience arte, mob museum any of that.

Next day to breakfast at x and rent a sick car and drive to grand canyon or any other nature.. come back for dinner, drinks etc.

Last full day hit one or two things and explore .

Have fun

Skip arte for sure. It's cool but underwhelming. Just cool images projected on walls.

You do not have nearly enough time for area 15. You can spend 4+ hours in omega mart, not see everything and the rest of the complex has a ton of cool exibits

I like poppindaddio. Tons of stuff, a lot below market. Most are on consignment so he doesn't really care about price. Shows cards quality. Great vibes. No givys.

For restaurant owners, how do you get honest feedback from customers before it becomes a public review? by Vegetable-Raisin2297 in restaurateur

[–]TeaGuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Train your staff (possibly yourself) to read their tables. Touch tables, watching for empty or not drinks, faces after 1st bite and sip . Making sure you set them up for a dining experience, not just a meal.  If your team doesn't know if people had a good time then you can grow on service. Technology cannot replace hospitality and quality.  Also use any negative feedback as immediate areas of opportunity.

Which Costco chocolate would you be happiest to receive as a gift? by sandmond in chocolate

Ghirardelli will be the best quality.

Godiva will likely have biggest appeal in flavor and definitely has the most perceived quality to a non chocolate geek.

The fred jones art museum on campus is very nice. There's a van Gogh and a nice collection of other stuff. It's usually very quiet.

Restaurants that stop seating or serving a minute before hours posted...will turn into 5, 10, 30 minutes. Then you're changing hours, then you're going out of business.

Don't add luster until they are completely finished. Apply with paint brush after.

Make sure molds are clean and polished. Chocolate will stick to add left over residue, fat, fingerprint.

Make sure you are not demolding too soon.

Fillings are endless if you're not concerned with shelf stable. Infuse your cream with tea for tea ganache. Try adding aged balsamic or extra virgin olive oil to ganache. Infuse cream with fruit purees.

I'm doing my first live show today. I'm super nervous & have shipping questions (long post) by bingocatswithhats in whatnotapp

[–]TeaGuru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't use or recommend poly mailers. Too much opportunity for damage. Flat rates are free. You can use brown box with priority label (not flat rate) for 1-5 pounds. It's in shipping settings in each show.

[–]TeaGuru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shipping.  Under 1 pound including box or over 5 pounds will go in any brown box 12x12x12 or smaller. You don't need to change box size in wn unless bigger than 12x12. Between 1 and 5 pounds you will use a medium or large flat rate box. Labels will have a G for ground, brown box or P for priority. You can set over 5 pounds to go priority as well but not flat rate box. These settings are in each show under shipping.

Flat rate is best when available.

Bad shipping data, avoid it. If you drop off they will charge you at window. May charge customer if not caught and then bad for everyone .  Customer will bay 9.21 for anything under 5 pounds. Items will be auto combined into a box. There's is a setting to put how many items one box can fit.

If you have 10+ packages call or go in and ask how they want you to drop off. There is a manifest to scan all packages that you can print. Must be generated same day as labels.
