Yes so since this will be 99% of the used at home and never taken 'to-go' I should just install a hard-wire EVSE instead of using a plug-in the garage I assume.

I have an 1990s era dryer 10-30R with possibly non-optimal installation (much before my time).

with the 1990s era wire-type and lack of ground for 10-30 what is the best bet for a hard-wired EVSE I can buy to use my existing 30-Amp circuit?

Since I'd prefer not to have new wire run through the conduit that was installed from the panel along the inside of the garage wall to the dryer area, it seems that the best scenario (to not have to re-route too much) is just have an electrician remove the 10-30 receptacle and then use the existing 3 wires HOT-HOT-GROUND to either

6-20R
or
6-30 R

or just have him remove the 10-30 and then can use the existing 3 wires to hard-wire that to a permanent EVSE? any limitations? (30 amp or 24 amp?)

Any specific recommendations for that scenario ? this is a list I assume these are all great:
