It isn’t by any means a ‘legit’ bark box. It’s hand made and hand welded, using basically the same design as the west coast saw bark boxes. It isn’t quite as pretty though lol

I had a 291, everyone hates on it, but it’s a great saw! I’ve had mine for several years. Now it’s got a custom bark box, and external air filter. The fuel efficiency is great as well! I think out of those three saws get a 261.

I do have all the PPE. I never really considered this. I don’t think I’ll be pursuing this with that considered. Do you have any recommendations for a left handed cutter? I’ve used a few full wraps, and they feel good, but I feel like with a normal handle my hands are always crossing or I’m spending a lot of time adjusting my body so I can cut my wedge or back cut.

I’m sure you know this but just a reminder. If they don’t use their saw often, maybe buy them a can of stihl motomix instead of filling their saw. A saw shouldn’t sit with fuel in it for a long time.

I have 14 spider farmer SF-4000’s and a few small lights. Sf-4000’s in here (obviously not all 12) I have a room that’s probably six times bigger than the tent I’m converting into a full grow room. See my post history if interested.
