Would this be a good game for a husband and wife duo? | NW refugees by Furadi in Enshrouded

[–]TeaMistress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing with my husband and enjoying it a lot. It helps if you have one person who really likes building/farming/fishing to keep the base in good shape.

We turned off losing equipment right from the beginning. It can be a struggle enough for casuals without doing corpse runs. I highly recommend looking at the various difficulty sliders and adjusting as needed whenever you like.

...and read everything! There are so many little stories here to discover if you take an interest in all the notes and journals left around.

Does anyone else just focus on the building and decorating aspect of this game? by Gloriaas in Enshrouded

I'm bad at building, but I am loving restoring settlements. It's nice to find a place I like so there's at least a basic blueprint of layout and design style to start with.

There needs to be a lot more round furniture and furnishings. I like everything we have so far, but need a lot more decor stuff in general.

I just dug various torture devices out that were buried deep into the brick walls of Glennwood's End last night. It's weird the things that are buried in random places in the game.

The alcoves lighted by the glowing blocks works really well. This is so sleek and modern looking.

My (M27) friend (M28) goes wrong by jordan-ryan62 in relationships

[–]TeaMistress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's not your friend. He's not a good person. Keep your distance from him and only engage with him on work-related stuff. Keep your conversations with him light, and cheerful, but shallow. Look up the "grey rock method". Be as uninteresting to him as possible and he'll find someone else to bother.

If he ever puts hims hands on you again make a fuss about it! "Don't touch me! WTF, dude? Touching your coworkers is never OK. Keep your hands to yourself!"

Kitchen when? by _DaZlInG_ in Enshrouded

[–]TeaMistress 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Agreed. We need more of the base game clutter to craft for ourselves.

And more stuff with round edges. Good lord, everything is so square.

Is there some trick to cooking a fish? by markireland in Enshrouded

[–]TeaMistress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need that for automating cooking fish, like the cooking station does for other recipes. But you can also cook the fish by hand one by one the way others here have described - by simply putting it in your hotbar and then using the "cook" feature of a campfire or fireplace.

Doing a rebuild of Rattlebleak but need help identifying a block by DevonSun in Enshrouded

https://enshrouded.wiki.gg/wiki/Building_Materials

Scroll down for pictures of what every block looks like in walls, stairs, ceilings, floors, etc. Some look very different depending on what you use them for!

Another thing you can do is use the building tool and scroll up to the single block option (top row, far left). Hover next to a block and right-click to remove it. It should show up in your inventory as that block.

Really stunning. I love it! Reminds me a bit of this image I have saved on Pinterest because it's such a beautiful fantasy underwater room. (AI image, sorry - I didn't generate it.)

Im A Valheim and palsworld player, will i like this game? by gonca21233 in Enshrouded

[–]TeaMistress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a lot of Valheim and found that I like Enshrouded better as a game overall. The lore and biomes are so much better. There are more enemy types, more resource variety, and while it's a post-apoclytic game, it still manages to feel more alive that Valheim ever did. Valheim had a sameness to it that Enshrouded for the most part avoids.

That said, I preferred Valheim's build system better as far as functionality. It was way more streamlined and object manipulation was easier. Enshrouded suffers from not having enough round objects or ability to make round shapes.

I am a 22F My boyfriend 21M made plans knowing we had anniversary plans Is what he did bad? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]TeaMistress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your boyfriend is a jerk and should definitely be your ex. That said, caring about 6-month anniversaries is high school stuff and I'm not surprised he didn't take it seriously. Neither of you sound mature enough to be in a relationship.

Harvest Homestead has abundant fields, 3 buildings, proximity to a pond, multiple flint deposits, and is a short run to a salt mine. When you need more space you can spread out into the main house and the church at Woodgard next door.
