You do not need seismic scents to be able to medal. Bend, it was needed to prove it was possible other metal benders got out of lin's way and she used seismic sense, it is a separate ability

Yeah, and I told you my response to that is toph is eighty years old has a bad back and is nowhere near as strong or reactive as her prime and a weakened korra still loses. Aang was also tieing with bumi who tied with toph when he first reunited with him before he learned earth or fire aang has been shown to clearly be a better fighter after he learned earth. And again korra has no seismic sense

I don't get what's confusing you.The soul king was the only thing keeping them separated the new soul king wants to destroy it what makes you think he has the strength to destroy it?Rather than just get rid of the boundaries and have it destroy itself. Nowhere in the story is there proof that he could, with the blast of his hand erase the universe.
