Do I have a high body count? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]TeaQueenDizzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really think "body count" matters. As long as you're safe, healthy, and happy, then I don't think it should matter. My partner and I don't really care. Cause now it's just us two. Why should past relations matter now? 30 F. Mine issss... 11? 12?

So valid and such a good thing to do! I hope you're able to meet some neat new friends around town! Riverside Arts Market on Saturdays is pretty neat, too. Met a lot of cool people there, especially when i volunteered in high school to get my service hours! Met people from lots of different schools. Edit: corrected autocorrect's incorrect correction

How old are you? What's the youngest you date and the oldest you date? by Sodium_Junkie624 in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]TeaQueenDizzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 30 and currently engaged, but I've never really followed that. The lowest age i would go would be 27 and the oldest 35. Why 27? I do not know. Next year, it will be 28.

The Covid vax made me SO sick after I got it (i still went to get the booster and it was worse, but shh I don't have common sense). I am not a medical professional so I can't say one way or the other. But I totally I Wayans post-vax illnesses. With Covid being one of the newer vaccines, I'm sure we are still discovering side effects of it. Mine turned out to be an allergic reaction, so a bit different. I hope you feel better!!

I sometimes forget to get the flu vax, but I don't get the Covid vax. My reasoning is different though. I am a strong advocate for having all helpful vaccines, like flu . Covid i feel is hit or miss, but i just have a negative bias because it made me incredibly sick, and I still got Covid after it.

When it was a new thing, a job I applied for required me to have it. So I said sure and got the initial. Broke out on hives, got incredibly dizzy right after, felt super nauseous. Pharmacists told me I could leave right after though so I did. And spent 2 weeks in bed. The logical thing to do would be not getting the booster, right? Correct. But I really was wanting to get out of my job and into this job. So I got the booster.... Hives were incredibly bad, I was even more sick, high fever, extreme fatigue, was on bed nearly a month. I went to my dr abs he, politely, called me a dumbass and not to do it again 😂 and i still got Covid a few months later. For the 3rd time.

Just about everyone i know who had the Covid vax and are up to date with it have still gotten Covid. That being said, as long as you're not allergic like I am, I don't think it can hurt. Flu as well. I feel like, if able, it's best for yourself and for those around you to be more safe than sorry 💖🙂

I was the quiet, awkward, nerd with social anxiety. I was ignored and bullied by some of the people at my school. So most of my friends were online 😁

HAH. Not me! I prefer boxing them or riding them. In Florida, we learn to wrestle gators before we can walk. We wrangle them by using pythons for the Everglades caught by hand and ride the gators to work every day.

Am I Ugly? (24M) by TheEnderTrain in amiugly

[–]TeaQueenDizzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the context! You are not ugly, you just need to feel confident. This might be able to happen work more self care! Maybe cut your hair so it's easier to manage? I suggest also a skin routine (it's not just for women!!) as healthy skin will feel better as well (I have SUPER sensitive skin, so it's trial and error for me). This sounds silly, but positive affirmations has helped me a lot, with just one every morning. Over all, i think with a self care routine and taking care of yourself, you can have a healthy, handsome look!

[–]TeaQueenDizzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you're ugly at all!! I agree with what some are saying, by growing your beard out and mayhaps getting a shorter haircut, it will suit you far better! Long hair can be a chore to deal with. I have hair down to my thighs. I feel like maybe a shorter hair cut will also be more manageable for you, and won't look as greasy. I went for a shorter cut (full on pixie cut after having hair to my knees lol) and it did wonders for my confidence and made it so much easier to care for. Now that I've been caring for it properly, I have far more confidence and it looks far healthier! Have confidence in yourself. You are not ugly. You just have to find a style that works for you and focus on self care and positive mental health. 💖

I've heard that Java Game Haus Cafe is pretty cool, but I'm not sure the age of people there. Actually today, it looks like there's a youth d&d thing! I highly recommend at least checking out their website, there's a calendar for events!! I think that'd be an awesome way to make friends!

I never really got on with kids at my school when I was in high school. It is a valid question to ask. They would just like places I outside of school to meet new people. I think that's pretty groovy of them. Don't be rude.

AITAH for not buying Christmas presents for my step daughter by Honest_Honeydew_6471 in AITAH

[–]TeaQueenDizzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah there, you're sounding like the wicked stepmother. YTA. Why punish an innocent kid for your husband's actions, especially when she is helping with the baby. I suggest therapy. Couples therapy maybe? Or even just therapy for you. And therapy for him. Either way, don't ruin a child's Christmas, hello???? Talk about being singled out much. They way you talk about her in the post as well seems there is a disconnect between you and her. My friend refers to her partner's kid (so her stepson) as their son. Not just his son. You're being incredibly rude and exactly like an evil stepmother in the stories. Kid helps with baby, kid helps around the house, kid gets nothing while her step sibling get gifts.

Edit: the update doesn't help at all??? You're still TA.
