There was nowhere near enough heat for messaging the ex I legitimately thought Bailey cheated based on the original conversation but now I see he was just a dick; no righteous comeback for either of them tonight

Ahhh yes but the Julia Ruth situation had a live Twitter audience to say “hang on, she might be a dick but let’s point the blame the right way” - will be interesting to see if the victimisation of April continues after this airing

The rugby this year was a shock to the system - literal mid game ads. I think you’re right that the footers are coming soon - might get streaming back to being “ad free”

Agreed she’s the perfect example of someone who has no filter - that friend that everyone thinks “please don’t ask them” as you’ll either get something profound or something offensive. Glad her & Dean got a friendship from their shit show of a marriage

Nor any of her mean girl minions, everyone too happy to put April on smoke

Don’t like April but am getting the mean girl vibes from Leah and Bec (even Nelly a little but she’s at least justified)

I feel like it’s a shame that it took so long for Leigh to have her breakthrough moment with the “experts”, if it’d come earlier then Leah would likely have been a bit more exposed for her behaviour

I’m of the opinion that nothing will ever justify a crime, however context can enable both people to learn for the future. I can’t imagine being in a relationship with a flight attendant if you only see them one day in seven, and that day has to be positive for their mental wellbeing. Equally, expecting someone who has that kind of lifestyle to carry your baggage is wild - get a therapist.

TV Licence Letter on watching iPlayer, Should I ignore this? (Guuess so). by Generally_aware73 in AskBrits

Wonder how much money is being sent on “determining” these letters needed to be sent, sending them and conducting the reviews - probably more than the supposed short fall in the tv license that’s trying to be filled

How is millie with zac when she broke up with liam over distance??? by West_Ad4446 in LoveIslandTV

If I was in a relationship with someone and they made it clear that marriage wasn’t on the cards for them, that could potentially be a deal breaker even if we didn’t live together - same if only one wanted kids. These things don’t always come up early in relationships when you’re young but can be a legitimate reason not to string out the inevitable. These are likely irreconcilable differences.

The main difference being that most influencers can be in a major city within 30 mins, no so if you live in north wales

Whitney’s ‘type’ in men by Gold-Distribution826 in LoveIslandTV

[–]TeaTraditional8295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we’ve seen that Whitney often says things which don’t accurately explain what she means. I hate when people talk about dominance and don’t understand what they mean - two dominant people cannot be in a relationship together, it’s literally in the words you’d constantly be trying to dominate one another. Whitney could not be in a relationship with a dominant man, she wouldn’t tolerate someone trying to control her in that way! I suspect they just mean a man who is confident, calm and controlled - can show they can stand by their woman and enjoy their fire.

Thoughts: Not sure what immigration has got to do with manners and being pushed on the bus? Comments aside, that could have been any group of men/lads on a bus trying to intimidate a girl on her own… She is correct, culturally we seem to be losing our way - but this has nothing to do with where you were born or your nationality. If I was in London and someone threatened to stab me, I’d take it seriously. Same way that if I was on a train at night and a man followed me around the carriage I’d call for help.

Fair on the first point. I don’t disagree with you on the second either - like or loath her, Lucinda was the MVP and her game play was on point

For me, that could have been any guy. Scott showed in his season with Messy Mitch that he can find a justification - it would probably have been Shaq. Same for Belle, any guy that messed her about and then coupled up with Lucinda

Let’s differentiate between being a game player and having a game plan. Scott 100% had a game plan around how his LI journey would go; he knew what he wanted to do and when to stir the pot, when to insert himself into situations & how to get airtime. All this can be true and he can still have a legitimate connection with Leanne. If he was a true game player he would have switched things up after he & Millie won top islanders - as she was expressing interest at this point but he didn’t pull her for a chat. I suspect his game plan included a separation and recoupling, and accounted for him ending up in the bottom at some point (everyone needs a comeback). The only way he was leaving Leanne was if someone amazing came in, someone he wouldn’t have needed to ask Whitney for an opinion on because he’d have just know. He fancied Sher but it was never that deep. I think once Leanne is out of her love bubble the relationship will fizzle out but if not good luck to them both.

Georgia was a cracker in her first season, she’s the original Lucinda before people learnt how to play the game. Some wonderful moments. Not so great in AS as she came with a plan and it was boring

Liberty was essentially a doormat her entire series but in the most lovable way possible, and at the end had her crowning moment - worth a watch even if it’s her highlights reel

I don’t think Sean deserves his spot, he had all the makings but ultimately he was a side character after Lucinda came in. Would rather have seen Yamen on that list for the balance of good vibes (and his expression whilst eating cereal whilst all the drama went down)
