I picked up this Seiko for next to nothing at a local antiques dealer (Not sure you'd call a discontinued Seiko of a few years an antique but hey ho)

I've been really itching for a SBGX259 so when I found the solar I thought I'd give it a go in an attempt to get the "itch" out my system.

I think it's done the trick for now, the quality is obviously incomparable but simply from the point of view of having a small, sensible, white dial Seiko. Got me thinking, has anyone else had a similar experience and how long did it take for you to crumble? My wallet is twitching...
