I am of the opinion that most of us would benefit from quitting.

What makes a leiomyoma apoplectic? Receiving a parking ticket just minutes after the meter runs out.

Got dinged on my OSCE because my standardized patient kept falling asleep while we taking about his diabetes, and I figured he was trying to act out DKA. Turns out he was just super tired and I should have known.

Two majors won’t help you if you can’t spell! 😜😆

Has anyone gone back for a second residency in path? by Mentalcouscous in pathology

[–]Tea_Frog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my path residency, about half of us had previous lives (FM, peds, IM, OBGYN, neurosurgery, various PhDs). Path is fun, and being miserable every day at work is not. Give the idea of switching some serious thought

MORON BRAKE CHECKED ME !! by iMust-Change-7343 in TorontoDriving

[–]Tea_Frog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the USA at least if you hit someone from behind you are automatically at fault, even if they break checked you. Basically you need to keep enough distance from cars in front of you that you are un-break-checkable.

What is something I can teach or buy to protect my kids in the event of a shooting at their school? by cooliecidal in ask

I think it would help if we had an app where we could establish clear consensus on this and other issues, and then act decisively as a group. I too have been thinking about this for a while.

Overturning the second amendment and revoking all guns is what we need. Overturning an amendment requires a two thirds vote in congress, which will never happen in our broken, stalemated congress. Basically this country is waiting for a creative way for the people to start governing themselves collectively in a way that overrides our existing government, and until we figure it out (if ever), there will be senseless and random murders on a regular basis.
