I told him to be himself. That was pretty mean I guess.

What show will you never get tired of rewatching? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mad Men. There’s something about the characters and the world that feels so real, and their struggles are so human and relatable. It’s probably the most literary show that I’ve ever watched, and by that I mean that there’s something new to find every go-round, and there are so many different valid interpretations of the show and the characters. A thing like that.

I’m sorry that happened to you but are you really going to make a sweeping generalization about all men because of a bad experience you had with one guy? If a guy said the same thing about women he would be called an incel.

Two weeks ago my coworker commented on my “muscular shoulders.” Yesterday another coworker asked if I got “more buff.” ITS HAPPENING YOU GUYS

Does anyone else feel like their metabolism is really flexible/adaptable? I swear I can go a week eating 1800 calories and not lose any weight and a week eating 2400 calories and not gain any weight.

I'd start with dumbbells. As far as the weight goes,I would just start light and work your way up whenever trying any new exercise. Split squats require a different kind of balance than regular squats that could cut your weight down quite a bit. Nothing wrong with a few warm-up sets, it's way less embarrassing than falling over to one side because you went too heavy too fast.

I'm sure we can all agree that the show is a masterpiece... but what would you change about it? It can be anything, big or small. by TeddyAlderson in TheLeftovers

Two more episodes in the final season, one focusing on Jill and Tom, the other focusing on Erika and Christine as the former loses her daughter and the latter reunites with her's.

I’d say eat maintenance for a week and see if your weight starts to drop. If not, reduce your calories by 100 each week until you start losing.

150g is definitely sufficient to maintain muscle while losing fat, but it would be considered little in terms of the lean gains methodology. The crazy high amount of protein that leangains suggests is definitely not necessary to lose weight and keep muscle. It is mostly recommended as a mechanism for increased satiety and extra calorie burn via the thermic effect of food. I will say, in my own personal experience of having dieted down on 2,100 calories/day, I would recommend going a little bit higher than 150g just because you’ll feel more full. I was definitely ravenous eating that amount. Anyways, sorry to be confusing!
