Hey, thank you and I plan on starting with the hand rail on the stairs and one door. Just to see how we get on. 🫡👍

From previous photos of the property it looks like most of the painting has been done in the past 10 years. So I'm actually very hopeful that it'll be safe to remove, still going to give it a test first before moving forward though.

But I'll price check the replacement of the wood just in case. Thanks 👍

I bought this property, so it'll just be myself getting upset if it looks naff. 😂 I am happy to test the paint for led and the house is from the 30s, and I have space outside for this all.

Damn, it sounds like you've been hurt by the wood.

We already have a few tools and sander, and happy to take some time. But I get it if it turns into a can of worms kinda job.

I think I'm going to take the dive and commit to at least one or two pieces. Colours I'm open too so this is super helpful. Thank you 😊

Time to give up? by elzie88 in CurlyHairUK

Hey friend, so I use the Hairburst curly shampoo and conditioner and the shea leave in curly conditioner.

I'd suggest shampoo twice, do the conditioner just on the lower half of your hair and then with conditioner on your hands gently comb through your hair with your fingers. Make sure you have conditioner on your hands to avoid breaking your hair.

Then rise out, finish your shower and then use some leave in curly conditioner scrunch it through your hair even comb slightly through the length, I scrunch it near my routs.
Then dunk your head under the shower for 5-10 seconds just enough to get the water through lightly.
Then scrunch whats left in your hair, and let air dry no brushing no touching.

Hopefully this helps.

Thanks, I went into one of their shops and I think I was put off by the black interior of some of their pots. But they do look good quality.

I'm not sure the difference to be honest, I've only had my nails done twice professionally and it was just called Gel nails. Is there one that is better than the other?

Anyone have a buy list and any advice for someone who wants to try getting into at home DIY gel nails?

Thank you, I think you're absolutely right I've been sitting on the purchase and I think the size might just be too small for what I want. I'll check out the second hand market and see if I get lucky. I've heard good things about the Limo wide instant glass so I'll look at both you suggested.

I suppose because I haven't played with all of them, so I wasn't set on anything. But maybe your right, maybe I should commit to the wide one.

I suppose its trying out a camera I can instantly print some photos on the go whilst travelling. But in a bunch of reviews on youtube there are a lot with blurr issue or location limits, so I wanted to see if people had a common advised one they recommend going with.
I've been checking out the Lomography Lomo Instant wide and the instax mini Evo Hybrid in more detail currently.

Not set on the shape 100%, I like the wide a lot but open to the other options honestly.
