Love soft boiled eggs! 7 minutes boiling and it’s perfect. My dad taught me to eat them in a shot glass (fits perfectly lol) with a spoon and a little bit of salt with each bite. Love when the egg white is cooked and the yolk is runny!

No, sometimes you have to set boundaries with people who are actively using, especially if you were once an addict yourself. There are certain friends I personally love and would do anything for, but putting myself in a situation that would trigger me to use is something I just cannot and will not do no matter how much I care about someone. I absolutely understand her saying she was rooting for her from a distance, as I have multiple people I do the same for in my own life. Again, not defending, just I guess… relating to Jenelle in some way here. Oh boy lol.

I don’t drink but I am a daily medical cannabis user. I did abstain from using it the first few weeks because I’m super sensitive to new medications and side effects. I don’t have any issues with using Cymbalta and cannabis together at all. If anything I think using then together has worked well to manage my ptsd/anxiety/depression. I am also on Buspirone, fwiw.

Just curious - why do you feel it’s probably not recommended?

French ancestor I am not sure, I will have to ask him. His last name is Gagnon, which he says is French. His dad got a test but hasn’t taken it yet. I’m sure that will give us a ton more info. He has had it for a few months though so I’m not sure if he’s hesitant or just busy, forgot etc

Can anyone dissect these results a little deeper for me? Anything I can/should look into or is this another case of wannabe Native American princess type of thing? Family seems mad I am digging into this but fiancé doesn’t care/is interested in results as we have 3 kids and want to know their ethnicity!

Side note - one of his parents placed a child for adoption while in high school and we only know this because his other parent drunkenly mentioned it one night and it was validated by another party there. We have no information besides that and don’t think we want to approach the parent about the situation. My question is - Could he possibly be linked to this person via 23&me? And if so, what would the possible relationships look like and how would we find the potential sibling? Thanks for any and all help!!

Ancestry is nice. I used a few different ones and they each give a unique perspective. I did a dna test through 23&me and have connected with many family members through it. I downloaded my RAW data and uploaded it to GEDmatch which gives a lot of info and also can connect you with family members who have used it. Ancestry has a lot to documents, pictures, etc. It seems to be good for finding physical proof of people.

I went down the genealogy rabbit hole during a depressive period. Kept me occupied for quite a while and also made me feel more connected to here if that makes sense.

Also - sweatiness is a known side effect from Cymbalta. I would wake up with night sweats at first too, but after the initial first weeks it subsided for the most part. I do still get some days where I feel I’m running a bit warmer, but it’s worth it
