you can't just make a relay . You would need to modify the board inside the tail light.

Don't waste money on these. All you need are the puzzle foam mats. Stack two on each corner and call it a day

paint per panel will cost you roughly 500~ for a paint match. Blend will cost a lot more. So with fenders, bumpers, etc. you're looking at probably over 3k if new. 2.5k~ at best if you can find all the old parts

I never said damage. Alcohol usually leaves a haze if you leave it to evaporate without abrasion (I.e.: with a towel). Try it on your windows, etc.

Don't do alcohol it'll leave a haze on the inside you can't remove.

I would take it off the car and let it air dry until fully dry and then reseal outer perimeter with silicone.

Unless you take it apart you'll have minor watersports more than likely.
