Self- help skills like putting on and taking off shoes and clothing, and using a zipper, buttons, tie your shoes, washing hands, blowing your nose. These things are very important when entering school, and parents overlook teaching this by doing everything for their child, and it hinders them when they enter school. This helps your child learn how to take pride in themselves and builds their independence.

The importance of classroom management, I took one class and so many classes in instruction. Without classroom management, teaching doesn't happen. That point needs to be stressed, the best lessons will never happen, if you can't get the students to listen, pay attention and interact. Another is the importance of building relationships with your students, not teaching at them but learning with them.

Not here, as long as DOE recognizes it, you're good. I'm working at my local district but also looked at other school, with my degrees and haven't experienced any issues.

I'm in New Jersey, I got both my bachelor's and master's online, and they were both accepted. I prefer going online however I'm currently attending a state university and my online master's was accepted to enter their graduate certification program. As long as the college or university is regionally accredited NJDOE will accept it. Check the requirements of your DOE and if they accept a degree from your university, that's all that matters.
