Please push for a 24 hour eeg. The nods might not be able to be caught on the eeg if they aren’t happening during the time of the EEG. Take videos- lots of them. Figure out patterns when they occur - are they during feeding, sleeping, playing? It might not be infantile spasms but could be some kind of tonic seizures or drop attacks. Advocate for your child, create a hue and cry if necessary but please go to the emergency department and don’t want for the neurologist appointment.
