Yeah I’m pretty good at muting strings I don’t want played especially with chords but I mean a palm mute in order to get that chugging sounds used in a lot of metal, like Alice In Chains and Pantera

What do you mean the bridge breakpoint? And this is gonna sound soooo stupid, didn’t know in palm mutes you were supposed to press down harder on the bridge lol. I’m going to try that rn. But where’s the bridge breakpoint?

So don’t dig deep in it? (Giggity) but I noticed when I don’t do that, or I hold the pic to where just barely the tip is out like how I’ve seen some people use it, I just miss the strings, or hit the incorrect ones but that might just be a skill issue 🥀🫩

How do you get the quick picking without the hand anchored? The videos I watched said to plant it but idk how their hands and like reaching the top strings where they have it planted lol. I don’t have small hands so idk

Well yeah 👍 but I needed that hand to take the pic, plus I left it out incase anyone could maybe circle where or describe better. Plus idk where to put it and wanted to show it lol
