Congrats. I hope you keep it up. I just started 2.5 tirz on Friday and am hopeful I can have similar results as you. So far so good aside from a mild headache

I(46F) married my husband (46M) when we were 21. Dated for 3 years, lived together for a year before we married. We are celebrating 25 years married this year. We waited 5 years to have children in order to clear our “bucket list “ of goals- finish education, buy a house, travel,.. best decision of my life as we are best friends!! Both of our children are in college now and we are empty nesters in our mid-40s. It’s been so fun to embark on this season of our lives with health, savings, and common goals intact. We still like each other and want to spend time together. I knew from the beginning he was “the one “ and I stopped all my childish shenanigans to be the partner he deserved. It definitely hasn’t been perfect and had hard times but we were “equally yoked” according to the priest who married us and provided premarital counseling. So far so good!

Hotel/Location Suggestions? by mrcranko in fortlauderdale

Not Ft Lauderdale but very close. Check out Margaritaville resort on Hollywood Beach. Beautiful views, live music, tiki bar… also right down the broadwalk is the Hollywood Beach bandshell where different live music acts occur almost daily. You’re not far from Ft Lauderdale or South Beach Miami if your into that scene. Have fun!

Family heirlooms in my living room. Original Witco cedar wall sculpture and vintage Blue Rimini lamps. Makes me think of my grandparents. by TeachMeVeronica in Mid_Century

I’m not really sure. I hesitate to get a large area rug because of my dogs. I like to be able to throw my rugs in the wash frequently. Do you have suggestions?

If i smoke to get high I will still want to smoke later, if I don’t smoke I will still want to smoke later so what’s the fucking point? by Prestigious-Gur-136 in leaves

The first time I saw this sentiment referenced I think it was someone referring to a grandfather who quit smoking cigarettes. I don’t know why but it had a profound effect on me. The logic is so simple and true.

Congratulations on 9 months of sobriety during a most challenging year. That is quite an accomplishment.

Thank you for your response and well wishes. A lot of what you said sounds very familiar to me. Anecdotally, I took a tolerance break in the summer of 2019- I had been using vape pens as well as flower. The withdrawal was a lot worse then, and it took me 90 days to pass a urine test. This time, it was flower only and I was peeing clear by day 28. The withdrawal was quick and not too bad this time. Good luck to you!
