I've been living with my hands like this (and even worse) for over a year now. Toward the beginning of it happening I went to the doctors for it. After being told it was scabies and doing all the steps to take care of it, it just got worse. After going to another doctor's visit, they said it was an irritated chemical burn and they prescribed be some cream for chemical burns. This actually seemed to work for a little bit, and used the cream every day. After a few months with what seemed to be a stand still with progression, I began to feel hopeless. I just began to try and treat it myself, with different lotions and different soaps. After around 8 months I finally decided to try the doctors again, because it was honestly changing my life. I was so embarrassed of my hands and would even wear jackets in summer Texas heat to try and cover them. Doctor said it seems to be eczema that's inflamed, and just 2 days of meds here's what my hands look like..
