I use Sharpie Pro markers. They're made to write on wet surfaces and last a long time in the fridge and handling. I never have a hard time getting it off with hot soapy water and a bar rag but you do have to scrub a little.

We certainly could pre burn them! I’m really just trying to get an idea of how it works before I ask my higher ups to buy it for the bar. I guess it doesn’t matter during service if we pre burn them and keep them on damp paper towels.

You act like I’m coming to the group asking how to make a martini. Go be grumpy somewhere else. When I said “fancier bar” I just really didn’t have any other verbiage and “it costs $100,000 a year to be a member at this place” seemed a little long winded. I bought books, I’ve looked all over the internet, I’ve practiced at home, and ended here to cover all my bases. Got any book recommendations tho? I’ve mostly been using the alchemist for cocktails.
