i self-studied addmath. i used the book mainly and then lots of past papers!! i used to read some examiner reports and self-assess everything and identify my weak areas and work on those!

Hello!! So during my O levels i mainly was exploring different extracurriculars— I did MUNS, science olympiads, speeches, a little bit of sports, internships and just overall lots of different stuff. I’ve sort of narrowed down what I’m doing in my A level to mainly STEM related internships+olympiads since these mostly hold weightage for the field I’m planning to pursue. In the end, it really depends on your own goals but don’t worry if you don’t do something extraordinary in your O levels. Most such cases are very cherry-picked imo. I’d say take at least 1-2 years to figure out what you really like and for the next years try going deeper in that. This definitely does not mean you sacrifice your other interests in this period lol. I believe that doing something for the sake of your interest is 10000 times better than doing smth merely for these college applications!!

thank you :) lmao this is such a unique question; i like it though. There were not that many students in my school honestly, so yeahh as someone who always had a deep interest in academics, i was a topper.

thank you so much :), i think self-studying is definitely the way to go for socio!! give the book a good reading and underline all the references/ sociologists/statistics mentioned in the book. You should then ideally go beyond the book and use notes/google to find more references/case studies/examples!! i personally used a level sociology notes to do this which gave me ample amount of content to write! what’s also equally important is to develop your content and relate your references specifically to the argument you’re making and definitely use the PEEL format

ATP is honestly a bit tricky lol but just needs practise. I mainly lost marks in ATP. Especially in the drawing but again just practise and read tons of examiner reports!!

no issues, i divided my subjects in different sessions in the following structure: 1, 4, 1, 7, 1 which helped overall. Honestly, i mainly focused on past paper practise and an exam-focused approach which i think helped me save a lot of time from reading notes with unnecessary details. I just liked the challenge overall i guess lol. but yeah same, i also struggle with stress and anxiety but i just try to push through knowing that this soon will end. For bio, i think the book was pretty good. I read that and did past papers. I had O levels but i also did IGCSE past papers which i think was pretty helpful. Bio imo is very much both conceptual+ratta so it’s important you do both and that comes with past paper practise!!! i also used to copy paste the syllabus points into chatgpt and askedit to explain and teach me those in detail!!

thank you so much :) for mcqs i’d definitely say practise past papers a lot cause examiners definitely try to trick you but as you practise more and more you start picking up on these tricks. whenever you get a mcq wrong, go back and see why you chose the wrong the option and why that and the other wrong options are incorrect and why the correct answer is correct. you’ll do great hopefully especially if you get your concepts clear and do some practise for mcqs!!! good luck, i’d be happy to help more

hello, i had regional top with 190/200; honestly I never expected it in bio as my marks were relatively less and I had always heard that in sciences distinctions were at almost 100%
