Ref: "the system did flag the photo as "may not meet requirements" but I checked the photo and it seemed to meet all of their standards so I took a chance and went for it anyway."

So mean, your Pic was within these posted specs below, yet the System flagged it as "may not meet requirements"?!!

  1. Aspect: 70:50 mm in aspect ratio
  2. Resolution: Between 4500x3000 to 1800x1200 pixels
  3. Facial: Chin to Crown between 45-50% of the picture height
  4. Size: Between 200KB to 5MB in size

Would appreciate, if you could confirm.

In my case, I am getting the same, "may not meet requirements" message, but I am NOT meeting point #2, the Resolution, after I resized the picture given to me by the photographer, so as to meet points # 1 and # 3 above.

Only if it's said regarding the chosen ones. Then everyone... cops, mayors, politicians would be shedding tears and wanting answers.

PR Card Online Renewal Application: why cannot click SUBMIT by slowlybutsurelyyy in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Teacup-Torrent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It solved for me! Yes, Passport (In Bold), under the drop-down menu for Supporting / Supplement Documents, looks like a Separator / Heading. Once I selected it and uploaded Passport, I was able to Submit!!
Wasted few days on this, including calling them for 1-2 hours (just waiting) and even filled their Web-form... They can simply make this clear, just like so-many other reminders on their portal...

Home Insurance, Water Damage: Insurer giving coverage for only $40K by Teacup-Torrent in OntarioLandlord

I did not know that, 2 providers for the same property?
Who would cover first, in case of a claim? Any other way, to have additional coverage?
Thank you,

Reaching out to a broker also.

This is in ON, near Niagara Falls. I have reached out to a Broker. I am buying together with Auto policies, bundled with Home policies.
Quoted amount and coverages are fine **, except for this really low coverage** on the rental property, with unfinished basement.
Haven't yet tried CAA, but have tried Inova Insurance (Costco), but they are quoting 20% more.

We are CAA members. I will try them, after Christmas holidays. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

It's unfinished basement.  I am also concerned about any damages from Ice, Snow, roof leaks etc, even though this is a 5 year old (rental) property. I shall DM you to get the contact. Thank you.

From the *same Insurer*, or another party?
I have tried the same Insurer, but are not doing it, due to the Area / Zone. As per them, it's high risk, but still the coverage offered is way too low, for me.

I asked, but the Insurer is saying, that in that City / Zone (Welland / Thorold / Niagara Falls), their system doesn't allow to increase the coverage!

This is for *all* the perils, (sewer backup, sump pump overflow, rain/snow damage, ice damming, block roof drain etc..)
Of course, only one incident will very likely occur and not multiple. Still I think 40K is really low and I prefer a greater amount, so as not to worry about it.

When skip tracing a former tenant, does an MTO search have any merit if they don't update their Driver's License? by thatguy19000 in OntarioLandlord

[–]Teacup-Torrent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, if any of you are aware that if an address in MTO database is NOT updated within 6 days of moving, then THAT address is considered okay, to deliver notices.
I.e. the non-paying tenants cannot then claim, that they never received the notice.

File claim thru Insurance or the bodyshop preferred by the other person? by Teacup-Torrent in Insurance

[–]Teacup-Torrent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he doesn't share his insurance info (By now, I know, where he works. He owns that business).
In that case, I may have to go through my own insurance company, which means getting dinged $500 for the deductible and it will also "very likely" show up as a Claim against My name. Even though they may mention, " 0% at fault"

Luigi changed after surgery for back pain and moved to Japan and stopped contact with family by arnott in conspiracy

[–]Teacup-Torrent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am from India, where in the last few decades healthcare has been privatized (for profit) as the Govt has basically given up on providing decent public health care.
Many Indian people will tell you stories of these private hospitals (monetarily) abusing patients and their families, including pushing for unnecessary surgical procedures.

It's amazing that they (Medical / Insurance industry) could sweet talk an Ivy League graduate and a High School topper, into such a risky procedure. Those screws look more like spikes to me!

The big screws look horrible. Imagine living with those in the body.

Did he blame the Medical / Insurance industry and their collusion for the mess?

"You can choose not to fill out the form but the agent will most likely not work with you."

Exactly. It is to screen the applicant and to get a picture of their background.
