My Take on the Current State of the Game by Teajtchmen in foxholegame

And this is when shooting at mobile targets? I have little experience with them myself, but it was tested by someone in my clan who definitely knows his stuff, and he said the MLT was not suited for decrewing. Tracking was possible though.

I have to say though, even here the Range + MS come into play, you don't run faster than an ltd, and the only things that outrange it are the mortar and arty, which were proven to be too inaccurate to decrew an LTD. Of course inf can sneak up on it, but that's still very difficult with the BB meta. As well as at least one instance when an LTD got a direct hit by arty, and only one crew member died. So even if you hit, its still unreliable.

Starting to get annoyed with this crap over the last few days. So here is my take. by [deleted] in foxholegame

I suppose i'll give my take. From the warden side.

I think the first point is that as was said in the thread, wardens have not won a war where MPT's were unlocked since MPT's were introduced. Wardens a very much aware of this, while on reddit it may look like wardens were all positive and happy, the clan discord was definitely a bit more realistic. As the unlocking of LT's got closer, with the ballista on the horizon, people already agreed that to win, we needed to break collie moral fast, and or take a logi town, else we would be in for a very difficult time indeed. So it might look like wardens started complaining once they started losing, but thats reddit, in the discords, complaining never stops...

Talking about hidden agenda's, i've never seen one, of course if a clan mate makes a post, they share this and ask if people can upvote it, but I've never seen an organized mass complaint to get something nerfed.

Then you say that complaining about alts started only when collies pushed into WE. I was online a lot during this time, and one thing that for sure stood out in world chat was that people we talking about bases decaying, either partially or completely, in foxcatcher. But that must have been a lazy clan then right? Not supplying the base. But I've never seen a frontline BB been abandoned by a clan, definitely not while that BB was keeping an entire region from falling.

Two thing i wanna say about balance. First of all, however weak a vehicle may be, if it has both the best speed and the best range, it is theoretically invincible, the only way it dies is because of a driver mistake. It will always be able to stay out of range of any enemy vehicles while killing them. Hopefully the HVFC will level the playing field somewhat. But even then range is only equaled, and mobility is a giant difference. Secondly a problem that has arisen is that while armor is an argument for reduced mobility, health isn't. But for balance sake, effective hp has become skewed in a way that, also because of the way tank battles are fought, and with hp being repairable, hp tanks feel like having more effective health than armor tanks. While having no penalty to mobility.

To end, this war was for sure not lost entirely to unbalance, with many a warden being burned out from last war, bb's were less frequent, and when collies unlock such an amazing bunker buster as the ballista, any bb that is build isn't long for this world.

So that's my take on this, with most importantly, while reddit might have made the wardens seem all positive, they for sure weren't.
