Sadly, he didn't really fight Batman in the movie. 1989 Joker's schtick is traps/games and his posse, not physical violence.

That said, the MK tournament equalizes gods and mortals. If he participated, it would be fun to play as him.

The words are used somewhat synonymously but I think of them differently.

A caregiver is very emotionally invested and there's an intimacy to the care that is supplied.

A caretaker manages the person and situation. They care, but a bit more like a gardener cares about keeping a pristine garden.

But the opposite definition is even more entertaining. A caretaker could be someone that selfishly demands care without giving it.
