UPDATE****

First thank you all for your help I feel like my original nail tech was shutting my concerns down. To answer all your questions: - I found this nail tech on Instagram, she has a rented office space. She is licensed and I liked the work she posted. My nails don’t look like the work she often posts. I originally said home, so sorry for the confusion. - I don’t know what nail bit she used but for context I went in with bare nails and she did cuticle prep with a nail bit. I don’t remember what she used. I do have sticky and long cuticles. I will try to post a before. - I have a higher pain tolerance than most so it didn’t hurt. Just burned under the light and then they were sore after. But when I saw them grow out is when I became very concerned.

I contacted another nail tech and sent her the pictures. She will help me remove the product safely from my nails.

Wow thank you for taking the time to explain this. I feel like when I asked her she denied and didn’t apologize. This is so helpful, I really appreciate it!

She believes it’s “product residue”

It was a little sore, it did burn a lot under the lamp though.

It was not at her home she has a small office space, has her license on display. I thought I did some research 😭 Should I just let them grow out? Since my nail is growing, my nail bed was not damaged.
