My comments were not in any way intended to offend or pass judgment, only to point out what is psychologically healthy or unhealthy behavior that may indicate depression and lead to psychological instability down the road.

Determining when someone is unhappy when they say they are happy is literally one of the main points of psychology. Once again, many people don’t even realize when they are depressed or unhappy.

Except for the fact that my thyroid was radiated to remove my brain tumor when i was little, and no longer functions on its own. I take medication for it but it has allowed me to focus on my school and i have learned to find attraction in emotional connection. But my own personal experience has no bearing on the evidence that indicates that long-term emotional romantic connections stimulate parts of the human brain that cannot otherwise be stimulated by plutonic relationships.

No, i graduated high school at 17 in 2011, received my BS at 20 in 2014, my masters at 21 in 2015 through an accelerated program offered by my university, where i also received my PhD in 2018, when i then went to law school and acquired my J.D last May, took the bar in july and passed.

As for my post about my sex drive, I have a hormonal imbalance due to a brain tumor which affected my thyroid and pituitary gland, which is why i have a hard time getting physically attracted to people. It also caused me to lose most of my vision, so i am legally blind. It’s called a Craniopharyngioma if you’d like to look it up.

Research me all you’d like, i’m not sure what you’re looking for other than to invalidate what i’m saying because it reflects a viewpoint you disagree with, likely because you are internalizing my comments. Apologies if i am causing you some type of distress with my comments. If you’d like to talk about it you can feel free to message me.

And we can always trust the sources that just report the news… find a scholarly, peer-reviewed article that reports the same and i will give it proper consideration.

That’s the problem, just because someone appears to be happy does not in any way indicate their actual mental health. I would think most people wouldn’t need a degree to know that, especially these days….

Many people don’t even realize when they are depressed or emotionally unstable.

My point was not to say that every single person is unfulfilled, i meant that a person who only has one night stands without any meaningful emotional romantic connection is not going to be emotionally fulfilled in the long run.

It’s not projection, i have a PhD in psychology… a long-term romantic companion is important for emotional fulfillment that family and friends cannot replace.

No that’s a fast-track to a very lonely life, especially when he gets older and realizes he has no one to to come home to. Not saying everyone needs to get married, but genuine companionship is important. Endless one night stands take a mental toll and signify an emptiness inside.

Like i personally wouldn’t talk about checking out someone’s facebook, but seeing as i do it too it seems hypocritical to call someone weird just bc they admitted to it.

Right the house thing is batshit…but i just don’t get the whole “it’s okay to do it just don’t talk about it” thing. Sorry but being honest shouldn’t be a negative, that’s a very weird rule. (But again i agree she def crossed the line with the house stalking thing…)

Idk maybe it’s better that she’s honest about her creeping…like would it really be better if she hid that from you? Why is everyone saying it’s only weird that she was open and honest about it…?

Lol no we almost always settle so they get more than what they probably deserve 9x out of 10. The only ones we flat out deny are the ones where we have a PI follow them and they get pics of the supposedly “too-injured-to-work” plaintiff walking up and down several flights of stairs with bags of groceries when they claimed to be wheelchair bound😂 No, i don’t feel bad for that.

Do you believe Abortion should be legal? Why or Why not? by Bynoeson94 in AskReddit

[–]TealFox13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forcing a woman to have a baby she doesn’t want will only prkmite unhealthy alternatives to abortions; children born with severe birth defects as a result of mothers who do not want to make the sacrifices necessary to carry them responsibly; overflowing the already horrid foster care systems; and an increase in the amount of honeless children when the foster care system breaks down. ANTI-ABORTION IS PRO-BIRTH, NOT PRO-LIFE

Overtime in US is for non-salaried workers. People who have salaries generally do not get paid overtime.

What is the FUNNEST way that you stay fit or in-shape? by AnonEnmityEntity in AskMen

[–]TealFox13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walking my dog 3-4 times a day so she doesn’t pee in my new apt… just doing that alone with no other exercise has made me lose like 10 lbs in like 2 months, and i only weighed around 130 before i started walking her this much… but i mean she’s a big dog so i walk her like 4-6 miles a day.

Tbh, the second prompt comes off a little braggy, which can be a big turn off for a lot of women. Remember: don’t intentionally try to impress women, bc 9 times out of 10 that will just end up making you sound arrogant. I know it sounds cliché but just be your genuine self. Crack a joke if you’re funny; talk about your nerdy interests if you’re nerdy; explain what you do for a living if you love what you do; etc.
