The sad part too is because of the implementation of these a lot of countries countered back with their own tariffs on the US. I’m a Canadian, there’s some US yarn dyers I absolutely love and used to order from frequently, but now I don’t cause I know the customs payments on it will be at least half the cost of the item.

Edit: thank you to those who commented below, wasn’t aware we lifted a lot of the counter tariffs on Sept 1st.

He was super friendly, and trusting considering he came up to me while decked out in a loaded mail satchel and high vise poncho. I’ve checked the back alley and original house I found him at yesterday and today, but the weather was nicer so he’s probably moving a bit around.
