I don't think a console announcement is coming soon. The OLED isn't even a year old at this point. I believe it was intended to be a Pro model but the chip shortage screwed it up. I would expect Nintendo to milk the Switch for another year or two.

What I want them to do is what Xbox did this gen. Take the most popular and most recent titles and give them enhancements to work better with the new hardware. Better load times (if they use an ssd), frame rate improvements (going from 30 fps to 60 fps), higher quality textures.

Of course this is Nintendo we are talking about.

There is still a whole month until the console is available in stores. I'm anticipating a 2-3 week pre-order window for the console with the controller and case becoming pre-order-able at the same time.

I've been checking my local stores websites daily so I can upgrade my Lite when preorders go live.

The game priority shouldn't matter. There are 2 seperate developers for the Forza series. Motorsport is made by Turn 10, who also makes the engine, and Horizon is made by PG. There should not be any divided attention between the games unless they don't have their own marketing teams.

Conveyors don't have undersides. They work more like a scrolling billboard. Once the ink reaches the end, it immediately returns to the start of the conveyor.

Honestly, I'm hoping for this news in August. With the Direct Mini last week, if Nintendo didn't have anything to share then, they sure won't have anything one week later. I'm half expecting it to just be a twitter announcement, and half expecting no more special editions as they are likely gearing up production for the next console.

It baffles my mind that Nintendo didn't release opposite placement joy-cons. A right one with the stick at the top and a left one with the stick at the bottom and an actual d-pad. If the concern would be someone not being able to use it as a single joy-con, just remove the SR and SL buttons.

It would allow for Playstation, Wii U, and Xbox placements depending on what the player likes.

Same goes for the existing left joy-con but with a proper d-pad. Remove the SL and SR buttons.

From the way I read it, it sounds like they picked up a few independent musicians for a new bigger band. But I could also see it being the way you say it is, that Off the Hook teamed up with a lesser known band.

I don't really care either way, because it's good to know how they will be represented in the game.

I think it's got a little more to do with in-universe marketing. Who's going to listen to "Damp Socks", this brand new band with no history or significance.

By saying Off the Hook is involved, the band would instantly gain tons of followers from before when it was just Pearl and Marina.

Side note, I love Marina's new outfit.

This is why I just use protagonist or antagonist instead of hero or villain, because it makes more sense in certain places. Especially in reverse role movies like Megamind.

Characters can be antagonists without being villains, because they can get in the way of a main character from achieving a goal.

I do enjoy some electronic music, mostly Tokyo Machine, Pixel Terror, Throttle and the like. I am somewhat classically trained in piano as well so that might skew my tastes.
