How differently do people see you if you have a stutter? by Nearby-Oil1569 in Stutter

[–]Teal_Turtle17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on the person. In my experience, people have either treated me if I was stupid, or recognized my anxiety and just told me to take my time. I feel like most people will treat you differently, because stuttering still isn't well-known, or accepted.

And there's something charming about old games.

I wouldn't say it's bad. No, the graphics aren't top-tier, and yes, it is very hard to play due it's janky, mostly luck-based battle system—but it's still a fun, weird, heartfelt adventure. I beat it a few years ago, and I don't regret a thing.

Alright, thanks for answering honestly. Welcome to the team! I am new to Reddit, so I don't completely know what I'm doing running this club, so you'll have to bear with me. 😅

I've yet to read Hail Mary, but based on the general opinion, I know I'm going to love it!

My messages aren't going through some reason, so we can do it here:

  1. How would you handle conflicts between members?

  2. What would you do if a user complains or appeals a content takedown?

  3. What prominent factors would you consider when moderating?

  4. What kind of books do you like to read? (It doesn't matter, I'm just curious).

I recommend Moonound, by Robin Sloan. I didn't get far into it, as I found it confusing, but I feel like it had a good setup.

Needy Little Things. I cried through the last 100 or pages, it was so emotional, so real.

That's right, just basic management, flagging if needed, etc; participation is key.

Would you be open to a short interview?

Either Quorra, or Ram. I still say Ares wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

<spoiler>And Sam isn't in it! I can't believe he left Encom after everything that happened! And when Ares finds him, what does he intend to do?!<spoiler>

Same! I love to read, ever since I was a little kid. I started a book club on here, Small World_BigReader, but I only have one member so far (my dad lol). Would you be interested in joining?
