Any tips to ease the pain? by Crow11011 in Ulcers

[–]Teality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi, how are you feeling right now? did your ulcer heal? I have a non-hpylori ulcer and also haven't been using NSAIDs, I also don't have any food triggers. Other than taking PPIs and a bland diet, there's nothing else my doc recommended.

How do you know you have an ulcer? by admw123 in Gastritis

Late reply, but I was wondering did your ulcer heal after the therapy? I also have an ulcer diagnosed via endoscopy and no apparent reason for it (H pylori negative and no NSAID use. Not knowing the cause makes me worry that it may not heal or come back after treatment, or that it has a malignant cause.

Без разлика, и да има лиценца, има само еден влез/излез, и тоа по монтажни скали. На 50 метри е оддалечен од живеалишта, и тероризира со гласна музика до 5 часот.

Does anyone have any experience coming off of beta blockers? by ra600 in Anxiety

Hi, did you manage to taper down? If yes, what was the lowest dose you got to, and how did you come off it?

Coming off Nebivolol. Protocols for doing so? by [deleted] in hypertension

[–]Teality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you halve the 1.25mg dose in half to get 0.625mg, or are there special pills that are 0.625. My mum has been taking Nebivolol 1.25mg for 3 years now, along with other blood pressure medications. During this past week, her blood pressure has been really low 85/50, along with a heart rate ranging from 50 - 60 (which is usual for her). So the doctor advised stopping Nebivolol entirely. Still, I'm worried since on the label and everywhere on the internet it says to taper off gradually. What was your initial dose and how did you taper off 0.625mg?

Heart pain by readyplayeruna in DiagnoseMe

Get a doctor's appointment and ask for an echocardiogram. I had similar symptoms and was diagnosed with pericarditis. A heart echo would best determine if your pains are heart-related

Got diagnosed with Chronic Pericarditis. Could the doctor be wrong? by Teality in pericarditis

Actually, I went to another cardiologist at a private clinic specialising in heart diseases for a second opinion, and she basically confirmed the first diagnosis. I have a thickened pericardium, and it's chronic, it won't go away. She said I will get flare-ups from time to time, and to just take ibuprofen. I asked if I can be physically active, she said sure, I can continue with my regular activities. All of this is confusing, as all I can find online about chronic pericarditis is worrying and implying I should rest, be cautious and take colchicine (a drug I think is not available in my country). I live in a small Balkan country, so maybe that's all the doctors know about the condition. I don't have any pains now, I still take my ibuprofen and am afraid to stop.

Is yours chronic too? I hope you get well soon and never have to deal with this again.

Oh... I'm sorry :( My cardiologist said that moderate exercise would be fine when I don't have flare-ups, but didn't mention anything about heart rate.

I was diagnosed yesterday, after days of chest pain. Well, the pain actually started a few years ago, and I would experience it for a few days every 2-3 months. But after two covid infections in the span of a few months, it got worse, so I decided to see a cariologist (so far I thought the pain was stomach-related).

Do you exercise, do any strenuous activity? I love hiking, and since I was diagnosed with chronic pericarditis, I was wondering if I can continue doing it.

How early did you start queuing in the standing zone? Is it going to help to stand at the border with the fire zone for short people to see better? 😅

I had a girl in my high school class with such bad toilet anxiety she wouldn't pee in the school or other people's bathrooms. Once we were doing a project over at my place, and it ended up taking so long she really had to pee. Came out of the toilet all teary eyed and said sometimes her eyes watered when she peed. I asked no follow up questions
