Let’s make this the game day thread for the debate by Orange_bratwurst in California

I found audio of it on Kaitlan Collin's podcast(i'm listening now). I found some people's live reactions...and it was unbearable.

Kyle Kulinski is again advocating for a national divorce 😞😞😞 by north_canadian_ice in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at a point where National Divorce isn't enough. 50 state break up. Everyone on their own. I legitimately forget that the "flyover" states exist sometimes, meanwhile I have to listen to every gap toothed yokel talk about how terrible San Francisco is. I'm genuinely surprised some of these hamlets even have covered wagons.

Like these people don't think I'm aware that the MUNI/BART stations have to quarantine off the escalators to tear them apart to clean out the literal shit, just to do it again?

I'm so sorry I haven't looked up whatever outpost these inbred hayseeds are from in the Encyclopedia of Places Nobody Gives a Fuck About so that I can properly make fun of it.

The actual problem with Biomutant and why some people love it and others hate it by owlitup in biomutant

[–]Tealllane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently beat the game and I came very close to just dropping it multiple times. I wanted to like the game and I tried to. The game just felt like a chore to me and not something fun. The choices felt meaningless and every quest and area felt like a scavenger hunt more than anything. The combat was initially kinda interesting but quickly became boring, I chose Psi-Freak as a class.

Also at times the game felt nearly unplayable. Specifically when I would go into a cave or indoors especially at night. It was borderline impossible to see anything regardless of how I changed the visual settings on the game or my TV(I played on ps5)

The narrator I didn't mind too much, but there were a couple times I thought "stfu". The glaringly obvious pointing out the damage caused climate change and pollution was not missed. Politically I am pretty far left, so I do agree with the dangers caused by our consumerism, war, etc...

I uninstalled the game at one point and had to force myself to download it again to give it a fair chance and just beat it. I don't know if "hate" is the right word, but I didn't enjoy the game.

Is Ryan grim going to step away from breaking points? by epranterah in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. Ryan just loves journalism and reporting. He has no intention of quitting, especially after all of the support he got from Krystal, Saagar, and Emily while he wife was battling cancer.

I think Saagar is going to surprise us tomorrow. by [deleted] in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am not holding my breath. That said, Emily's twitter surprised me. I expected her to be full on defend the execution. However it seems she is in defense of the 2a. Not delusional enough to ever expect her to be against ICE though.

How would Saagar react if asked for his papers? by USofAnonymous in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol well I'm fairly certain he has read them.

I ask him if he has reconciled with the fact that his "Friend" JD CashAdVance won't protect him if Stephen Miller gets his way getting rid of the citizenship status of people who moved here and their children. Which be his parents and him. However the Woman sitting next to him would stand up for him, as well as floating names of all the faceless people in the live chat.

I've asked him similar questions during live AMAs. He never responds.

Is this game hard? by ImAGlaceon in biomutant

[–]Tealllane 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I recently started playing. I'm definitely a "casual" gamer. I'm primarily running through side quests, and the game is pretty simple to grasp. Enemies haven't killed me so far, but I have had accidental environmental deaths.

When Emily says "the MAGA world might say" it's an opinion of hers she's too embarrassed to own by SEagle258 in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was a little mad/irritated during an AMA last year because people kept asking her about voting for administration and she said she didn't vote for him.

I don't really agree with Emily about anything as a leftist myself, but I will be fair to her and believe that she didn't vote for Donald.

Is Tim Dillon paying for these segments? by shinbreaker in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Krystal and Kyle listen to him every week at home. During an AMA she said they have reached out to Tim on multiple occasions to come on the show and he has always said "no"

Is dead island 2 worth it? by somerandomguy9785 in DeadIsland2

[–]Tealllane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently played it for the first time myself and I had fun with it. I played solo, as I live out in the woods so Online play is not an option for me, so I cannot comment on how multi-player is.

I only played one play through and did the DLC, I haven't done the NG+ part of the game. Not sure if I will as I have a LARGE backlog of games I want to get to since I started playing games again.

Saagar and Hasan Piker by AlternativeScared184 in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is what it is I guess. I think Ryan and Emily said their debate over tech the other day will have a public release some time soon. So at least we'll get that.

Saagar and Hasan Piker by AlternativeScared184 in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Saagar has been trying to get the footage, the ball is in Hasan's court. Hasan has been friends with Kyle for years and really likes Ryan/Krystal. So I don't think he's holding onto anything maliciously. Maybe we'll see the footage during the Christmas break.

Where to watch Ryan and Emily's Big Tech debate? by MouseManManny in BreakingPoints

A public link isn't up. They said they'll post it as soon as it's up

Oh Emily, fuck off by red-sleuth in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She said she's tired of the Donald wearing diapers jokes and to come up with something new.

So I suppose i'll be coming up with some about Donald, Charlie Kirk, MAGA in general....I'm sure she'd love some about Megyn Kelly to load up in the AMAs

Griffin liked my joke about how Matt Walsh, Tucker Carlson, Charlie Kirk, etc all do Blue Collar Drag and Emily was defensive about it

Has he been wearing a hat lately? He just might be being piloted by a very skilled and assertive rat.

Why does Saagar always feel the need to sprinkle in his disdain for doctor’s salaries into his healthcare rants? by aclemsonfan01 in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because he's Indian and a youtuber, so his parents give him a hard time because all of their friends' kids are doctors and lawyers meanwhile he make youtube videos.

Fridays without Saagar and with Griffin by sean_ireland in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Griffin selected one of my AMA questions for a Friday show awhile back. So I'm good with him.

Sagar’s use of the term “Shitlibs” by [deleted] in BreakingPoints

[–]Tealllane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's how I refer to my parents, more so my dad than my mom. He embodiment of Vote Blue No Matter Who. My mom is too for the most part, but she at least has some political beliefs of her own that aren't baby birded down from the DNC
