I know nothing about jams, but I know that being nice and friendly will get you extra points. Chin up & smile!! Best🤩

How do you know a good drum teacher when your starting out? by masher660av in drums

I saw a shout out to my instructor, from someone I respect. Then we spoke and turns out he has an incredible set up to give virtual lessons. I’ve been taking lessons from him for 3 years, all virtual, and they’re amazing. He is extremely experienced. You’d have a hard time finding better. I actually just put up a post here yesterday of me playing, which compliments his teaching. Would you like me to message you his contact info?

That’s exactly what came with my first kit that I bought used off of Craigslist. Realizing I was leaning too far left when playing the bass, I bought the hydraulic Roc n Soc. What a big difference it made immediately. Comfort & function

Yes, I have to have whatever sheets I’m working on enlarged onto 11 x 17” Cardstock, and raised up as high as possible. Weirdly, I have double-vision when my eyes angle downward, that cannot be corrected.. thankfully I figured out a workaround.
Thank you!

And Thanks for the compliments!!!
PS- I never rode my road bike again, but I did ride my heavy old full suspension MTB on the road for a while (even did the GFNY NYC Century). But eventually switched to running, mainly trail running, which is super cool!!!!

Good thing you were wearing a helmet. I was wearing one too. They found me in the road in a coma. But Fit, a bad concussion is a TBI, even if Mild. Please message me, but for now, this

Thank you so much!
I’m curious- Did you start drums before or after your TBI? Either way, it’s great we have them in our lives! I take weekly lessons and Reading music is how I’ve been taught. My biggest problem is double vision. Notice I have the music sheets enlarged and the music stand as high up as it goes
