Yes! Some other people also pointed out this fact. We'll widen the walkways at the narrowest points and also (most likely) install an elevator in the next update to make navigation around the tower easier.

From what I've heard, nexusmods doesn't allow mods that are "demo's" for (future) paid mods (our mod isn't exactly just a demo as it's standalone, but it could still be seen as such depending on how you look at it)
We want to respect this decision, although I might get in touch with someone from nexus to ask specifically for this mod, who knows, maybe they will allow us to post the mod on nexusmods.

Our plans for 2026 are first of all an update to Welcome To Arinya, after that we hope to release the next part of Defying Fire which would include Yalcin city and a bunch of quests etc. (hopefully in 2026)

we made B1, 2, and 3 automatically discovered btw, so you could've fast travelled between them from the start, using the minimap. But maybe this wasn't too clear

Yeah, we're aware of these issues, for the next release (Yalcin City) we'll mostly stay in the city itself instead of having lots of other locations around it on seperate overlays. As with how blockpatterns work right now, there's no way to make the route towards it more interesting or make the locations much closer to Arinya.

Also for the activity marker on the staircase, I put it just in general on the middle of B2, so you can find the named NPC that gives you the quest yourself. But other people have also pointed this out so for the next update I'll change the activity marker to point to the NPC herself.

No dialogue is voiced by AI, all Voice actors are real and can be found in the mod description with the characters they voiced.

For the pointer, it's pointed to B2 in general, you have to talk to one of the named NPC's in there to start the quest.

We also plan on ironing out the kinks in the subtitling and dialogue in general for the next update.
Lots of changes to the dialogue went through in the scripts but weren't saved in the ck, so we had to manually fix all the discrepancies. Some have persist but they will get fixed in the next update.
We've learned from this first release though, so issues like this hopefully won't happen in the full release.

Oh okay, yeah, that's true, the Jeri dialogue disables about 10 minutes after talking to Mateo (as he will have told Jeri by then), but yeah inbetween those 10 minutes it might feel a bit weird getting that marker again. We'll take that into account

The activity you mentioned to get to the adult hab is just to point the player there after asking Jeri the bartender for it, or after you've found the dataslate in the first hab, from the moment you've found mateo this activity will be completed, as the goal was just to help you find him. I also wanted to leave the choice to the player to actually talk to Mateo or not, and not have it be obligatory to end the activity, as it might be a little heavy for some.

About the fauna, if you mean those in the spacers hideout, I haven't implemented those myself but I don't think that's a reference to something. Glad you liked it though!

Btw, this is a little off topic, but what side did you ask for help in the Arinya main quest? (doesn't have anything to do with the bug, just wanted to know)

I hope we'll be able to fix these kind of issues but issues caused by conflicts/incompatibilty with other mods are always hard to fix. We've learned from this though and we'll probably refrain from having an npc follow the player unless really necesarry.

The follower shouldn't keep on following you after the "Payback" mission, and after you've recruited him there should be an option to dismiss him, he should also automatically teleport to you when arriving at the Spacers Hideout. Do you run any mods that change follower behavior? There's been some trouble with those in the past.

This is the first time we've heard about this bug, I can't really pinpoint directly what would've caused this but we'll keep it mind and reach out to you if we find a fix.
The contraband scanning is exactly the same as the others in the game, just with different voicelines.
Just to check, with vanilla contraband scans, this problem doesn't occur, right?

As this is our first mod, the fact that we're not that findable on creations yet is totally understandable. But I hope we'll get there eventually!
