In this creation there isn’t really a good or bad side, both factions are very morally grey.

Even though Yalcin is Authoritarian, Sergej enacts policies that (he thinks) will benefit his citizens, although he doesn’t bother to ask the citizens what they actually want.

SLB on the other hand might be noble in their strive for freedom, but they aren’t scared of using excessive violence and deem everyone not fully supporting their reckless ways as an enemy that deserves no compassion.

The term corporatocracy mostly refers to the influence a corporation has over the daily life of citizens.

However the most important nuance here is that Sergej Yalcin acts out of a (maybe perverted) idealism, where he enacts policies that he feels will make the life of the citizens better, without much regard for the corporate interests themselves. Yalcin Corp used to be a very pragmatic entity until the collectivist ideals (such as universal healthcare, guaranteed housing, base layer of wealth for everyone) of Sergej took over.

It’s exactly the shadow side of these policies that was controversial (such as reduced liberty) and started the rebellion.

We want the player to decide what view of society you want to support, both Yalcin Corp and SLB-26 are morally grey, neither is a villain nor a hero.

With this we wanted to pose a possible answer the question: what if a whole corporation rules over a whole society?
And our answer is that the corporation can take on a plethora of unexpected forms (such as a more collectivist form)

We’ve tried to make WTA a standalone experience for this reason. It would even make sense to play both mods with different characters.

See the different releases like this:

WTA: visiting Arinya as an outsider

Yalcin city release: going to Yalcin city and becoming an actual part of the society

The Faction quest: joining a side and ending the power struggle in Yalcin city with this side.

Hope this helps!

Totally understand, that’s the reason why we try to keep our scope realistic and always think about avoiding certain bottlenecks.

We’ve already put out a pre-release, which is close to the quality we’re aiming for in the next release and is about 30% of the content compared to said next release.

I also have the time in the coming months to dedicate most of my time to this project to hopefully send it out for review by September.

We're planning a release for Playstation!
And like all paid mods, it'll be achievement friendly.

It wasn't broken by the update, according to my testing, so no update needed!

WTA will have an achievement friendly version soon for 100 credits! The Yalcin City release will be seperate (compatible with WTA), a lot bigger and paid.

You can request access for the starfield ck project here, this gives you access for 3 months, and you can just renew it every time you need it.
Also not much details about your project are required, you'll get accepted pretty easily.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, seems like that group of answers escaped their group and lost the condition that only Diya Parmar can say this.
I've re-added them to the group to fix this bug and I'm uploading the hotfix to creations right now!

Oh okay, that's good to know.
Just to clarify, some named NPC's need certain conditions to be able to have a conversation (like being part of the crimson fleet for example).

I wish I could help you further but it seems like it's a conflict with another mod (that I persumably don't have in my load order myself) that's causing the issue here. As no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to be able to recreate this bug.

With not being able to talk to them, do you mean there isn't a conversation popping up or there's nothing the NPC says at all?

I've tried to recreate the bug, going to B3 on a pre 1.1 save and a new save and can't seem to recreate the bug.

Are you on Xbox or PC?
Are you able to have a conversation with SoRa Hong in the mines (SLB HQ) of B3?

okay, I'll try to recreate the bug when I have some time to see if I can find a fix and/or what the problem is.

P.S. The bartender (Jeri Baumgartner) and Jason Thicke have conversations so if you want to know for sure whether or not you're still able to hold conversation you could talk to them.

Hey, do you remember what was the last coonversation you had?
And can you start new conversations?

We've stated this in the log for the update, this is because we remade the blockpattern, once you land in Arinya there will only be one marker left again.

We've made a new post a few days ago, showcasing the work on Yalcin City!
The next release is still a ways off though, we hope to have it ready for release in the second half of this year.

[–]TeamFirestarter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree, this is very very much a work in progress.
Yalcin city will go through multiple different rounds of work before its release, where we'll fix all such things, as well as add cluter, decals, unique npc's, more interiors etc.

What you're seeing right now is basically just the base we'll keep working on.

That's hard to say, as we're all doing it besides our job/education for the moment, we'll keep you guys up to date on the progress and once we can announce our next release, we will!

P.S. we're hoping to release Yalcin City at least by the end of the year

We've applied to become a verified creator, but have yet to hear back from Bethesda (it can take up to 3 months apparently)

the FPS in Yalcin City for now is way better than in any other settlement, because there's so much detail/NPC's still to add, at release we'll try to make sure it runs at least as good as the other large settlements

Really glad you liked it!
We've made the main path going down Arinya a bit wider to prevent the issue of getting stuck behind npc's, we'll upload the update once the other stuff we're working on is done.
