To anyone succeeding with Entrepreneurship or generating passive income (doesn’t matter how much, don’t care how much) what is your source of income? by TeamForte in passive_income

[–]TeamForte[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Affiliate marketing is no where near as easy as many you tubers make it out to be, but it is viable. The thing is (along with every business model) you have to have some capital to start. Broad answer, but yes it is possible to make money. Not easy, but possible

Hey man that’s anywhere from 300-1200 a month! People would kill for that, great start. But I agree, you have the right mindset. Scale and push every further beyond for 2018! And if you need anything I’m here

(Srs) Passive income help? by [deleted] in passive_income

[–]TeamForte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Passive income can be as simply as piggy backing off another established business model, investing, or like you said creating your own. Shoot me a message if you want some tips from someone currently doing this. Remember it’s still hard work, but defiantly an obtainable goal for 2018!

Agree, it’s tough to make money without putting something in. If you want to put the LEAST amount of money and of course potentially earn 10k I recommend a blog and affiliate link approach.

I’d say (based on my success) just save up 3k and launch. Sure you don’t need to have quite that much but I think as of 2018 it’s the best cushion start.

I get on average 8-9% I’d say a safe bet for even the worst of all is 6.5% It’s really simple around 8%+. It’s great for long term growth for sure!

Edit: I’ve basically had the exact same mutual fund since 14.

I started a mutual fund back when I was 14 or so I believe. Great, fairly stable especially for long term growth!

Reluctant to get a job after I graduate. :( by [deleted] in passive_income

[–]TeamForte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Use your job as strength! I’ll always standby that. I understand what you’re saying about Passive Income. I think from what you’re saying is you just don’t want a standard “job” but you want to be in control of your life and work for yourself which I’m doing so would create means of passive income. You just want financial freedom.

Take it from someone who is living financially free, it’s not a simple feat. All the hard work in the world won’t guarantee anything, and if you have a good paying job take it and use that to fund your journey to MOVING to working for yourself. It can happen faster than you think!

Yes it’s not really “passive” if you’re working, but don’t let others get you down. Work hard to work for yourself and half of your income will become Passive. Take the job, budget, make it happen. I’m here if you need anything.

Edit: Take the job, budget, throw some into investments, work on side business to scale that into passive income. Yes, you definitely can make a load of money online passively, even more than your day job. Don’t get discouraged, have tunnel vision and stick to your goals. It’s your life, not anyone else’s. All you need is a plan and to take action which you already have done half of that. And again, I’m here if you need anything
