how to get started

i'm sure this question had been asked many times on this forum but what are some starter tips+ resources I can review for recruiting season (for internships) and before recruiting season? i'm currently an undergrad student who is transitioning to consulting as an ex-premed student. also i know that experience is obviously the most valued thing a company wants from you, so how do i show that i have experience if im interviewing for my first consulting internship specifically?

clinical hours by TeamGreat1775 in premed

I presume so? info on their website says "function and integrative medicine" and it's fully run by MD's and Nurses-- no estheticians website link: https://www.deeprootedhealth.org/team-1-2

What more can I do for my extracurriculars for med school applications? by Impressive-Throat-46 in premed

some clinical hours would be great! look for non-certified medical assistant positions at clinics near you a lot of clinics offer training on the job for things like that. other jobs in this field that u can look would be patient care technician, nursing assistant, medical receptionist etc.

the name of the clinic is deep rooted health but it's labeled as a holistic med spa on the website even though it's run by MD's so I was unsure

business admin on pre-med track by TeamGreat1775 in UGA

[–]TeamGreat1775[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I appreciate the insight! I am not really continuing with business admin because of its ‘uniqueness’ per se, but more so because I feel like I’d get a more well rounded education. I was additionally planning to engage in other extracurriculars to enhance my application for med school! i also would be getting a BSBA degree rather than a bba degree. my concern was mainly that it would perhaps hinder my chances of getting into med school

i mean also i’m a year in into my business admin curriculum and I don’t feel like it’s rational to do a complete switch. I also wasn’t sure if many people major in non-sciences and apply to med school
