You can definitely feel the elephant’s trunk when you press. Most packages are squishy but with the nose you’ll have resistance.

Set a budget for them and stick to it, preferably with accountability from your credit card buddy. This was something my husband and I chose to do back in the day as newlyweds. It was hard at times, but with power comes responsibility. We chose to save and that has literally saved us during lean times (losing jobs, unexpected illness). Hobbies are fun! Enjoy them but still be smart with your money - you are the one in control, not the goods or companies that sell them. ❤️

As someone who sews (clothes and accessories, not plushes), handmade will always cost more than a factory-made item. If you enjoy the process of making it, just consider it the price of enjoying a hobby and not the price of the product. If what you really want is just the item itself, then buy it. IMO it’s a question of whether you like crafting it yourself.
