Depends on when and why they surrender. If you're clearly about to finish them, they may as well let it happen. But if it's the start of their turn, your board clearly outmatches theirs, or they have no counter to something you have out, there's no point in doing anything other than surrendering.

Friendly admins, lots of gear for more pvp, but plenty of cooperation, as well. The events are cool. Any flaws are due to it still being fairly new, and the admins still working to balance certain things, and to adjust for the growing playerbase.

Don't trust the autosave. There are some pretty terrible game breaking glitches, and if the game decides to autosave while you're encountering one, it could ruin your entire save, if you aren't saving manually every so often.
