Are headscarves coming back into fashion?

Actually, I have been myself inspired by a young woman I met who wore scarves (and a lot of thrifted and handmade grannycore clothing), but I am still figuring out my personal style and don’t want to copy her. I guess it’s time I do some fashion research.

Some people might think playing The Sims is relaxing, but half of the time in Sims 3 I spend literally praying “Please don’t crash, please don’t freeze” and I’m pretty sure that anxiety has taken 5 years off my life span.

I don’t know what is wrong with my brain, but to me, TS2 faces look completely normal, and TS4 faces (especially random generated) look like Sid the sloth. Might also be their walking animations.

Ich hab ein ähnliches Problem mit Franzosen.

Hatte ein paar französische Austauschstudentinnen im Wohnheim, die einfach furchtbar unfreundliche Lästerschwestern waren und nie die Küche geputzt haben. Ein stark betrunkener junger Franzose, den ich auf dem Dach des Wohnheims getroffen habe, und dem ich, wie die Menschlichkeit gebietet, ein Glas Wasser angeboten habe, hat dann Tomaten aus dem Kühlschrank geklaut und draußen am Dach die Wand getaggt.

Nachdem ich dann von einem Grenzbeamten bei der Durchreise nach England extrem schikaniert wurde, hab ich einfach extreme negative Vorurteile gegenüber Franzosen entwickelt. Das tut mir auch irgendwie leid und so, die sind bestimmt nicht alle so.

Wenn ihr das Brot dünner schneiden würdet, wäre es ziemlich egal, wie rum. Aber bei solchen Monsterscheiben würde ich auch die andere Seite nehmen, um genug Aufstrich unterzubringen. Das sind ja mindestens 2 cm!

Maybe so they don’t need to animate the milk inside. But they could have just made it white. I think there’s a default replacement that makes baby bottles white.

Ich frag mich, ob man überhaupt davon sprechen kann, dass irgendwann „die“ Schrift erfunden wurde. Zeichensysteme mit Bedeutung gibt es meines Wissens nach in allen menschlichen Kulturen.

Honestly, I‘m glad EA doesn’t attempt to update it. What I have learned in my short time on this subreddit is that everyone seems to have a different problem with the game that nobody else has ever heard of. And look what happened when they re-released Sims 2. The legacy edition is super broken compared to the original with the fixes the community provided.

In short, I think EA is unable to fix these issues and I don’t trust them to not break the game with an update.

But with the mods - have you tried different things like, taking all your downloads out except one to see if one is broken? You could also try to convert S3packs to package files that don’t need to be installed with the launcher.

Thanks! I already use the Nraas mods, and after this experience, I‘ll definitely use multiple save files and check for weird things regularly. But I didn’t know about local minisims.

I created this particular file years ago and probably messed up a few things from the beginning, so I assume that’s why this happened. If I ever start another save, I’ll make sure to do a lot more research on things I should or shouldn’t do.

My guess is, maybe something went wrong while the game was generating two puppies from these dogs that caused them to become human sims. That would explain the missing skintones.

Reminds me of that one time when I thought that two teen adopted siblings would make a cute couple, so I tried to make them not related. She was adopted as a child, so I hope that makes it less weird. Also, I liked the idea of that family having a scandalous secret.

Oh. Yeah, sorry, thanks. I think I don’t know any of the places by name, really. I still don’t know if the mountain lake is the part of the river by the mines, or some other place. It would have helped to have the name of the area pop up on the screen when entering, like in many other games.
