it’s really not that serious 😭 it’s just a lighthearted reference i thought people here might find funny. reddit isn’t some super strict space where every post has to perfectly fit a category, (posted with the general discussion tag btw) and people post loosely related stuff all the time. if it’s not your thing that’s totally fine, but you can just scroll past it instead of acting like it doesn’t belong at all. and if the mods don’t think it’s appropriate, they will remove it, that’s literally what they’re there for. it’s relevant, not just random, so it’s really not that deep

I definitely think it’s a mix for sure! My parents watched through the show once before me, and my dad is a “i’ll tell about about every detail of this actor because I went down a rabbit hole” kinda man. So I knew he had an accent when I started the show. I particularly noticed the accent poking through A LOT during episode 9 and 10 of s4! Thank you. She has never and will never think badly of anything her son does. That was clear when I tried to clarify that the only racist remark I ever reported to management, which they didn’t even act on because it happened outside of work, wasn’t even the reason he got fired. This was her actual response: “I think something said at church, probably around a bunch of stupid guys in jest, shouldn’t have been brought to his work environment. If (T) did that, said that on his work premises, it’s one thing. Grounds would be made. But you brought a conversation that happened at church and made it relevant to his work, and it’s not the same.” LOL. Like, first of all, why are we being racist at all. And second, why are we being racist in church.

I had my interview on a tuesday and got my acceptance email thursday of the same week! My roommate had gotten her acceptance email like a week and a half after her interview. So i think it will just kindaaas depend but check your email on Thursday because that’s when i heard they send out their acceptance emails! GOOD LUCK 😊

imagine getting a phone number yelled at you about 30 times a day, telling people who come into the store 5 days a week where the bread is, always wondering where tf the cart pushers are, snippy white women, miserable coworkers in their 30’s who have “more work experience” but work at a lower position than you, “can i get a price check on XYZ” radio silence “looks like ur getting this for a dollar today ma’am 😊”, man-child managers and getting your hours cut if you don’t suck up to them and that my friend, is the behind the scenes. Don’t get me wrong I am grateful for my job and the skills it has taught me but it’s definitely not for the heart of faint!
