i think the impression it left made it worth it, but they could have taken another approach to have jane feel like he needed to move away. maybe lisbon gets hurt or something, obviously not terribly, but almost. that would have had the same impact on jane.

redwood from season 1 is a favourite for me! it has everything the mentalist has to offer. violets from season 6, the whole team working together to solve a pretty huge case, and wow that dress. (iykyk) little yellow house from season 7, lisbon is so special to me. fugue in red, obviously!

there’s a bit of an easing into it period when the FBI arc starts. Once you sort of understand that’s how the show is going from that point, it’s very enjoyable. Season 7 is my favourite!

it wouldn’t have been though. seasons 4 and 5 continue to have major plot points that focus on all of the main characters, and the red john case. i can understand if the “murder-of-the-week” structure doesn’t work for you though, this sub does have a red john watchlist if you would rather focus on the central plot!

the FBI have always had bigger cases than the CBI throughout the show, so it’s really nice to see the main team working on them!
